well, i'm excited ^^ i managed to win a painted hime head from yahoo japan! i've not seen many owner pics of her, but i love her little feline pout and have plans to make her either a cat or fox girl with the DDdy body.

 

Hi I was hoping someone could help me.. I really want a head from SQ Lab, but I'm kind of confused how to place my order. It says to email the "order email," which I understand, but then how do I go about paying with my PayPal after I place my order? Will they send me an invoice on paypal themselves?
Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm leaning more towards SQ07 "tsubaki" I find her facial expression so cute!!
I'm hoping that the artist I commission to do her faceup will be able to mod her mouth to look a little happier though.

 

thanks - i'm really happy to be getting a painted one - i love the style of the face ups, but i've never been very good at doing them myself

 

I need to get some good pics of my Tsubaki! I had her painted so she looks worried, but a good face up artist can make her brows & mouth look happy I'm sure

 

Howdy! I just stumbled across these guys and think they are totally adorable! For those who have these heads...I've read that they are on the smaller side. Do you think its possible for them to look okay on an MSD sized body, or will they look overly bobble-headed? Hopefully nobody minds me butting in here, just curious!

 

A little bubble headed. but the neck hole is way too big for MSD size, I think.

Thanks for the pic! Yeah, its not too bad size wise. My KDF Ttori has about the same proportions (one huge noggin for a MSD on that boy), but the neck hole thing might prove tricky indeed. It almost seems like a 50cm body is the best option, which I think their website mentions using Obitsu 50cm bodies... Unless I am way off lol ?

 

yay, my hime has shipped from noppin ^^ i'm rather eager because i also got one of their bust pieces for the mini dollfie dream body for a different head.

now i have to wait for the dynamite body to come back in stock with volks...

I snapped a quick shot of my Tsubaki, Yomi-chan. She's still a work in progress; I need to find her perfect wig and I'm waiting on her outfit to arrive. She's on the DDdy and I don't think she looks out of proportion at all, but I guess it's all a matter of personal taste.

she arrived today and i'm definitely in love ^^ i can try and get a picture of her tomorrow, but sadly i have no body for her yet - i keep waiting for one of volks' websites to restock the dynamite body. the bust piece for the mini dollfie dream body is also really nice, and i'll admit it - it's rather cute *^^*

and your tsubaki is so cute! i definitely will be adding her to my doll family.

Your tsubaki is so cute!!! I just ordered mine a week ago. I'm definitely not regretting choosing her head sculpt now! Her character is bubbly and happy, so those expressive eyes are going to be squinting from smiling with a happy expression. I can't wait for her to arrive. Then it's just saving up for the DDS body parts and a few extras and hopefully I'll have a full girl!

I'm pondering an SQ girl to go with my DD. I've got a hankering to do a more 'grumpy' character, so I was considering Hibiki, Haruka, Tsubaki or Hime. Hibiki and Hime are out in front at the moment - their mouths are so expressive! I'll let you all know what my decision is. It might be both! :P

I can also say that Ohime-sama is amazing, and I'm VERY happy with my DD painted by him. I also didn't know Ohime was a guy. Oops! I really need to pay more attention. I feel I've been really rude now. >.<

 

I think it'd look okay on the obitsu 40/45 body, which is based on the obitsu 50 body. ^^ http://parabox.jp/wear/size/40size.html

 

Ah, I am planning to get a SQ-LAB head sometime in the future.

They really do nice paint jobs.

 

Does anyone have a picture of a SQ head with a volks sd13 8-9 girl head?
I was thinking about putting SQ lab on my SDGR body but dont know if that body is too big.

 

it's not the best picture - but i tried my girl's head on the bw sdgr girl body i have.... (so obviously color isn't going to match! )

size wise it's a little small, but could possibly work with the right clothes/wig. however, you would have to do a lot of work to get the head on (the head is just really perched on top of the neck so it's not fully attached) - either modding the neck hole open more on the head or completely undoing all the sdgr body stringing, including removing the zip tie.

 

What colour is her skin? White or normal skin?
Planning to match a SQ-LAB head with my obitsu 50 white body...

Is the difference obvious?
