I think I'll try the 59 body and if it doesn't work out I can always get another 53 bod in the next pre-order.

 

KaIsUki: OMG! Congrats!! Your girls are so pretty DG61 body is very elegant ... the boobage go nicely with the curvature of the body! lol

Here's a pic of my girls, they have no proper clothing, no decent eyes ... I only got some nice wigs for them, and they will get their face ups once the weather gets better! So here's Sora and Yume (my Ranka and Tsubaki) saying hi ^^

Thanks, elsii yes i'll be painting them myself. I need to get them some clothes and shoes first, and some SQ resin eyes! I heard that Alicescollections MSD clothes fit the SG body nicely, gotta give that a try! Both my girls are on the 53cm SG body, and my future SQ girls will all be on the SG body too! I love the proportion!

 

Ooh, thanks for the Alicecollections advice! My poor girl needs more than one dress haha.

 

I wonder bluefairy white skin head on a SQlab SG body (real white skin)

Does Bluefairy make dolls in white skin? I thought they only did normal skin.

 

So far Bluefairy's white skin has been limited release only. I believe there was a limited release WS Olive and a couple of WS May dolls. But BF tiny fairy heads may be a little too small for the SG body IMO ...

Hey guys! I just got my DG61 and...well I was a little surprised! The resin feels so different from any doll I've ever had before...I'm so afraid I'm going to break her she seems so fragile and dare I say...cheap? ;;3;; Opinions?

 

Hmmm, I never thought of SQ Lab resin as cheap. It's not too rough, not too smooth, just as I like it, but I guess it's personal.

She didn't say Tiny Fairy, she might want to try a Bluefairy SD head..?

 

Queen: aww ... So sorry to hear that! I really like SQ resin, but i only have the SG girls, could it be that they use a different batch of resin for the DG bodies?
Evelien: yup, she could have meant a BF SD head, there has not been any WS SD release so far. BF SD heads are massive 9-10 size and would look really huge on the SG body, that is why i assumed she was talking about a TF head. I had a TF Olive once and her head was a tad bit bigger than average msd.

 

Ouch, I didn't know that they were 9-10. Yeah, they'd be too big. I wonder what a TF head would look like on the body though, since Iplehouse JID heads also work. I'll be going to a dolll meet on the 1st of March; I'll bring my SG body and my friend has a TF so I can see how it looks

This isn't a bluefairy, but it is a 9-10" Volks Lady Sylvie (modded) head on the DG61 body. Clearly the resin match is terrible, but the head's from 2005 so I'm not surprised. It does show that the head looks pretty good on the body. The neck mobility is decent, but not great. She can look up/down and side to side decently. It's a bit less then my Navi head's.



I received my legs today for the DG61 today, however I have bad news. The lower legs channels are too narrow for the s-hooks from the DG61 body. My doll now has "floppy feet." On top of this, there's a thin resin spot in one of the legs. I'm working on talking with SQlab to get the problems resolved. (I don't think they understood my first email so I sent them a video.) The legs are mostly flush, on the body, but not as perfect as the original legs (I think some light sanding will fix this). They're still really pretty good. I didn't mention this to them, but the other leg ankle has a couple of bubbles that were filled in (you can sort of see this at the top of the first photo), but as this is basically covered with the feet I think that's tolerable. I'm much more concerned with the fact her feet are super floppy due to the s-hook issue.

 

Bluefairy WS is really white, while SQLab's WS is more cream and darker. I have a WS TF boy and can try his head on my SG (but this is NS; I only have WS SQlab heads). I need to check it when I'm back home if you are interested.

 

I'm wondering if anyone has tried a smaller Volks head on the 61 body? I have a DWC02 head that I'd like to get on a slimmer/taller body but I'm wondering if it would work proportionately and especially color wise. I was originally considering the 53 body but I think it'll be too small for her.

 

Do any Chinese company head fit with Sqlab DG and SG bodies?

 

I had an Only-Doll Yue Er head on my SG body for a while and it was pretty much a perfect fit. Only-Doll SD heads are quite small.

 

Do you think they can be able to fit Doll-Love or Oasisdoll?
