Same here! I asked the artist and they said there would be layaway available

 

I really need that body in my life but her dolls are ssssso expensive. But I've been waiting for a bendy, elegant male body that wasn;t too buff. Does anyone know any more info? I've been following pictures but not much else - will they be available through a dealer for longer layaway or would it just be direct through her?

 

Most probably direct as she told me the preorder will start on 25th and will last just a few days. I was not aware the cost is 1000 and more.. I am sad.. My budet is 500+ but 1k.. T__T

 

I'm moreso interested in the body and not the head but I know they sell them as complete dolls, so I'll probably pick one up and offer a split later on for anyone who wants the head.

I recently found out about this artist and their body just blew me away! I've always been more into realistic sculpts but felt that sometimes this would impede on the mobility.
So I sent out my email for ordering today. I'm so excited!

 

What resin tones is everyone choosing? Deciding is hard. I also can't choose between the body only or Silver. I love his smirky half closed face.

 

I got white. Most of my dolls are white.

 

I decided on normal as I want to really go for that Chinese, long hair royal vibes boy. I personally find stark white to be a bit difficult to paint so normal it is.
I went with Silver version 2.
I am so excited.
@Littlebirdzoom they let me know that it's not possible to order the body only. You have to decide on a full doll.
I just paid in full. So now the wait begins

 

I see now that I was confused because the body and heads are listed separately and for some reason the head types are different prices. There's a lot of tangent going on between basic info on the website so I was confused. XD I originally wanted to try to match a body to a ID head in one of the special colors, but I think I might just also go for Silver 2 in normal.

I also got Silver 2 in normal. I am beyond excited. I know we'll be in for a bit of a wait as they do the packing themselves but I look forward to it!

 

Can't wait to see what you do with your Silver 2! The more I look at him the more ideas I get for him - he'll be fun. Might turn mine into a hot demon with a backstory, we'll see what I come up with

I ended up getting normal with all the extra parts except the extra hands because I liked the jointed hands enough. Now the wait begins

 

I ordered Wei Qing in gray. He's going to be an earth genasi or goliath, because he'll be the tallest of all my dolls. He's got all the extra parts, except the static hands.
I'm very excited! I did go for a longer layaway this time, as I think it'll be quite a long wait

I was so tempted by gray, but I'm making a hybrid. I got Silver General version 1 though, as I've grown fond of him through all the demo photos. I also got all the hands and feet, and the jointed hands too.

 

I was going to sit this one out originally, but the posing capability wouldn't allow me to let it be...
I went with white too since I've too many special floating heads of this size in that resin tone to ignore the hybrid potential.
asked for Silver General too - not sure if I read it correctly, but seems like maybe he won't be offered for the official sale period?

also, @Mirth - about Seth, the main order period dolls seem to be just now being received by the artist and are in QC before shipping, so you might still get a chance at a Seth head

I absolutely adore my Seth, and I'm praying my free time and some good weather will align so that I can paint him. I should take some comparison photos of him with my other dolls - he's easily my biggest even without the ears!

I also got all extra parts except the other hands. I felt like the jointed hands would cover plenty. I want to be able to take full advantage of all options he has and I have always wanted jointed hands. I'm already working on a diorama for him. I was already planning to build one. I had the closet prepared for the upper part to be for other dolls but I decided the bottom part could be his.
I'm thinking a bit of a cyberpunk type vibe.
