My head is already in Switzerland, hope to get him tomorrow or on Saturday. That was quite fast, he was shipped on Tuesday in Canada and I was told it would take about 10 days. *happydance*

bonita: Did your Mr. Rabbit head arrive this weekend as expected? My Snow Queen and Mr. Milu heads are taking forever to get here. It never fails for me to have a doll order in transit over a holiday weekend. *face palm*

 

Love your Kinglan faceup. Mine came, with the factory faceups, which were 'ok' at best. Too much black eye liner so the heads are enroute to my fave faceup artist to add her touches. My photos do not show them up to be very attractive so not sure I'm comfortable to post them here.

 

Thank you all for your nice comments. I did not like the first face up i gave her, so i've repainted her.

luckyl: unfortunately the head didn't show up. But I hope it arrives soon. Can't wait to get him. And in March I'm visiting a friend where I can try the body I want to buy for Mr. Rabbit.

Whoa, that was fast. I just got a shipping notice and tracking number from ANS for Gerda; wasn't expecting anything for at least another two weeks. (EMS tracking puts the package in Melbourne already, which means there's every chance she'll arrive tomorrow or the day after. )

I ordered a blank head, don't know if people who ordered a faceup have gotten their shipping notices yet.

 

Sorry for the late reply Shien! He's on a modified Iplehouse girl body. I had gotten it for one of my female heads actually (elfdoll ryung- don't ask why I thought it would match =__=; I have a ton of floating heads and got super tired of all the poor things sitting around. They all happen to be boys, so I just stuck one after the other on there until I found one that worked proportionately speaking. Mr. Hat heads have a narrow face, and are slightly smaller overall than my larger ones, so he fit the girl body's proportions quite well. The match isn't perfect (I'm a huge stickler for resin matching) but it's quite close. In person, you really can't tell at all- particularly with blushing. He doesn't have any bobble head problems really, save for the thinness of the neck (which isn't terrible.) I'd be happy to get him to strip off to post some pics of it (I modded it extensively so he wouldn't look too girly...)

Also- My Gerda head shipped!!! Just got the notice today - every time I get a body for one head, I buy another floater to replace it >.<;;

 

I picked up my Mr. Rabbit head from the post office today and I'm even more in love now with this sculpt. He looks even more beautiful in real than in pictures. Can't wait to give him a faceup and see what he will look like on a body. Hope to get some pics soon!

Michu: I will get a Spiritdoll Elegance body for him, with the two-part-torso. A friend of mine has one at home so I can try it first before I order.

 

Sweet. I'm getting a Spiritdoll Proud girl for my Snow Queen.

 

I don't have eyes I like for her yet and her body hasn't arrived so I have her on a custom house SD girl body. It actually matches pretty well as it had yellowed. Her head is small so I hope the proportions aren't too out of wack for the SD proud body I have coming for her.

She is so pretty! And her name really suits her. I should have read your post here closer. I asked you what body you have Asphodel on in the other thread. Ooops!

My Snow Queen head has turned out to be a girl afterall. I tried my best to make her look masculine, but it did'nt work. The resin match is really not that bad with my Supiadoll body with clothing that covers her neck somewhat, so my Snow Queen will indeed stay a girl. I will use the Unidoll body I am having tuned up for my Mr. Milu head.

Bonita: Be sure and post some photos of your Mr. Rabbit when you get him finished! I am so curious to see what you do with him.

Teruchan: Congrats on your Gerda head shipping! I am happy to hear there will be more AS Christmas heads around here soon.

 

Michu: she's really pretty. Love her soft makeup and the wig is great!

Luckyl: do you have some pics from your Snow Queen? I love this sculpt, it's really beautiful.

Thank you everyone. Yeah, I just put her on my CH body that I got with my della which had yellowed a bit and I may have to keep her on it because they match the best out of the bodies I have so far. I'm thinking I want to try her out with smaller eyes than I had originally thought for her.

Has anyone else played with eye sizes for the Snow Queen and have some suggestions?

luckyl: I'm glad she is staying a girl. I thought it might to be masculine at first too and now I just see her as so delicate a female even with her strong features.
