I did it! I ordered Serena in gray with the reaper parts and faceup! I'll have to make her a cute outfit similar to the one they had - just can't pay the extra for the outfit and boots right now. I'm so excited!!!

Thanks for posting this - the gray looks fairly dark next to the white, but I like both.

 

With Sugarable's event and seeing the adorabubbleness that is Darlene, I simply could not resist. The price was right and it's super-awesome that there are free parts. I got her fox ears and added the angelic wings as well for the extra cost.

Though I was confused by the Event #4:

This event, to me, didn't make sense since it started on the 24th. As the dolls take 45-50 days to process there'd be no way to take part in this part of the event if you ordered one of The Ladies the day the event started. So I asked Sugarable about it, and this is what they replied:

Just in case anyone else was curious as well.

 

And today, the news post said they were extending Event #4 until February.

Here's hoping [The Ladies] will be shipping out relatively soon!

 

I meant to post this earlier...good catch, Nightmoon! I suppose this is why they decided to extent the event. I also think the limited outfits have something to do with it - since everyone seems to agree that they are too expensive - they likely aren't selling as many as they were aiming for.

I ordered my first Tiny, a Sugarble Serena in grey skin with the limited outfit and fox ear parts today! ^__^ I'm so excited to get her~ I haven't been into tinies all that much, but I think Sugarble has the best looking tinies around. :3 I couldn't resist Serena in grey skin, she's so beautiful.

 

Does anyone who has ordered from Sugarble in the past know if, when paying with paypal, can you use your bank account? Or does it have to come from a credit card? I really want to order before the event is up....yikes!

 

You can pay from your bank account (instant transfer). I would not use e-check without checking with them.

 

I ordered a gray skin Serena with the reaper parts too, I am super excited. I did ask about the eyes BTW and they said that they do not include eyes for those who were wondering. Can anyone recommend a good place to get clothes that will fit the glamour bodies?

 

I wish I had a suggestion for you, Kataklyzme, but I'm probably going to be making my girl's dress when she gets here. She's also going to be on the Glamour body. ^^;

 

I know the CyCool girls clothes work pretty well on the glamour body. (At least, tops and dresses do. I think pants would be too narrow.)

Also I may have oopsed and bought an Adela because of the event pricing. Time to join the waiting room I guess.

 

I love how you say you oopsed. XD She will prolly mostly wear dresses or skirts so that should work. Thanks! I will prolly attempt to make some too lol but I am not a great seamstress sadly.

 

Ha ha, it really was an oops because I noticed they hadn't taken the sale down on the 8th when it was supposed to end on the 7th, so I was able to squeeze it onto next month's credit card bill. If they had taken the sale down on time I wouldn't have gotten her. :P

I've already got two glamour bodies (although they're the old body, I think the measurements are almost the same), so I'll be able to make my girl up some things to wear while I wait for her.

Omg, I ordered a grey Serena about two weeks ago and just received my shipping notice today. That seems insanely fast! I ordered her with face-up and extra parts, but without outfit. Anyone, excited, but also bemused - I don't think I've ever ordered a limited doll before and had them ship this fast, so I'm just hoping there's nothing wrong with the order. Anyone who has ordered from Sugarble before - do you know how fast they usually are?

I wish I could help you on the speed inquiry, but this is my first time ordering from them, too.

 

They were fast last time I ordered but not quite that fast. Perhaps they had precast event bodies/heads stashed up?

 

I've not ordered from them myself but a lot of the people I've seen who have ordered (edit: wow re-read this when I got home and was like uhhh powdered??? thanks phone -_-) in the past got theirs really fast too. I think they prolly do have at lest the casts done since they're all (I think) using standard body/head/skin color options so they really just have to do the special faceups and outfits if ordered.
