Sugarble Limiteds discussion part 1

I am now over half way with paying off my Darlene. She looks so cute, I can't wait for her to arrive! I didn't realise she didn't come with eyes, now I have to get some blue ones and hope they arrive in time!

Also, I know the boxes are not very important for some people, but the sugarble boxes are just beautiful! Very fitting for such wonderful dolls

 

You're not alone! I was so excited when I saw the original Sugarble box. I love it when the company puts thought and money into the actual box as well as their dolls! I was also happy to see the special edition boxes that The Ladies come in. AcesDelta and I must have the same taste, because I was considering requesting the violet box instead of the red one before my order too. I ultimately decided against it because I like how the red/gold box matches Adela's outfit.

I'm looking forward to seeing your Darlene!

Edit: I received my Adela today! My box opening is here! I can't believe how many goodies Sugarble included in my package Plus the 14mm eyes I had look amazing in her!

 

Oh she is absolutely gorgeous! And those are 14MM EYES? They look amazing! I was going for 12mm but those look really nice. I only have a couple payments left and then she will be here, I can't wait!

Hopefully the pure bright Adela will be just as gorgeous as your little sweetie Btw, the 14mm eyes look fantastic in her, I've ordered some really really gorgeous Candy Kitten eyes in that size for my lovelies

 

Yes I was really not expecting them to look so good! I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the 12mm ones I ordered for her will look just as good, but I may end up just leaving these in. I do like the color. I'm glad you will be getting her soon!

@Ashbunny, we must be connected somehow because I have also gotten some blue Candy kitten eyes for my girl! I really hope they arrive in time for me to take photos for the event..I have an image of her in my mind and I just don't think she would look "Right" without blue eyes!

I ordered blue for Willow (my Sugarble Hellena who's already home ), silvery grey for Rebecca and gold for Adela
Although, Rebecca may end up with the 'Raspberry Cupcake' eyes... will be able to decide which 'fits' best once I've tried them on

I don't think my girls will arrive in time for the event though :'(

 

I wonder if Adela has bigger eyes than Helena. Looking at the pictures, it seems like she does. So maybe slightly different eye sizes are best for different sculpts?

I haven't gotten a ship notice yet either, it'd be nice if I could participate in the event but if it doesn't happen that's life.

 

DeadLegato; I think you may have a good point there! On taking another look it seems abit like Hellena has almost 'romantic' heavy lidded eyes, while Adela has more open eyes?

Kind of hope the size won't matter though because the blue eyes I ordered for Willow are 14mm :facepalm:

 

OK, I don't have a sugarble ... yet. (stupid savings account!)

However, I just got a pair of Candy Kitten eyes for 2 of my dolls and they are MAGNIFICENT. even shinier and more awesome than I expected.
If anyone decides to try them, I think you'll be amazed at how beautiful they are.

 

Has anyone else received shipping notices for their Ladies? I ordered my Serena about a month ago and still no notice of her. :-O Has this been a really popular event so that they are taking longer than usual producing their dolls or should I get nervous about this? ;__;

I know this is a bit early because it's been barely a month but I'm just so anxious to get her, it's driving me nuts. X''D

Well, I want to join this thread as I just found Sugarble and wish I had found them when they had the 70cm dolls available. I hope that they will offer more that size in the future. The faces and bodies are simply beautiful. For now I have my eye on Ruby and may order her at the end of the month.

Question: Do these dolls pose well? I love good posing dolls with cute faces.

 

Wow, I M totally smitten by the monster tail for Medusa shown on Bjdcollectasy's article, it looks epic! Definitley *need*. What do others think?

I saw that rhiella and wow!!! The amount of engineering that went into creating the tail and it looks really posable aswell! Seriously impressed

I think they pose pretty well, but I can't for the life of me to get her to stand. I've just uploaded a posing ability review if you'd like to take a look. I also suggest you check out this page on Sugarble's website that demonstrates how they've improved the joints for the new body.

 

Thank you so much for the links..the video was most interesting. Strange look on the back of the upper legs where it connects with the body. I too wonder why they did that.
