Maybe she just needs another body? The legs on the new body *are* pretty weird. Resinsoul 26cm or Planetdoll 26 bodies work well with their heads.

 

Tia arrived today.

Just.. Wow

She's beautiful. She has no face-up, her dress doesn't fit at all (That's okay though, making a new one is simple) her eyes didn't arrive on time and neither did her wig

But she's just so incredible! And her wings are so perfect!

They sent me a bag of sweets too, and everything was packaged so beautifully... To be honest, right now I wish I had been able to afford more things for her just so I could unwrap them all!

I got the Darlene sculpt because she looked exactly like the character I had in mind for the daughter of Zelda and Link, and now that I've met her, she still fits that exactly - which is rare, for me!

I'm so happy And my Portal Gun arrived today too, so that's two big boxes for the mailman to cart up to our apartment ^_^'

 

My Serena arrived yesterday. I am so impressed with her and with Sugarble. The packaging was beautiful and everything was perfect. I'm wishing I had bought the full set now, but I really love her. She needs clothes and some new eyes, but here she is:

 

Yay so many new Sugar dolls! Gives me something to look at while I wait and save my pennies for the release of the snake tail body.

 

Yay, I got an email from the dealer, that my Serena is ready and has been shipped to the dealer. :3
There she will receive a bodyblush and after that I get her home. ^__^

Thanks! No, I didn't buy the wig from Sugarble. This is a Monique wig that I had bought from Jpopdolls some time ago.

hi everyone, i havent been here for a while! a big congrats to everyone who has new dolls i saw some very pretty ones as i quickly looked through this thread.
im really looking forward to the launch of medusa's snake tail which was shown on bjd collectasy. i messaged sugarble after seeing it and they said it will be released to buy around march so im so looking forward to getting it!

 

Yeah, as soon as I see the price and figure out how to afford it, I'm ordering a medusa snake tail too.

 

My girl arrived home this week~ I received so much stuff that I'm still not done opening all the boxes... X'D

I got a gift wig from Sugarble, and it looks really nice~ I'll post more pics of my Serena when I have the time to dress her up. I have to tell you she looked really creepy straight out of the box without her eyes and those... "plugs" replacing her hands and feet during the shipping.

I saw some of the Ladies for sale inthe DoA marketplace, who of you kept their girls?

 

Wow! Good for you, NioSpica. I have been wishing I had bought the full set with my Serena. Yes, I have seen some of these dolls for sale, but I'm keeping my girl - she's gorgeous!

 

My Adella is just kickin' it on the shelf until I have time (ha ha ha) to make her something to wear. And until I have time to restring her and see if an extra pair of feet I have from another doll fit her so she can wear normal Yo shoes.

 

I really love my Tia (Darlene) but.. I cannot get her to pose at all. I can't even get her to stand! I own a few dolls and I've tried restringing and all the tricks, but she will not stand. Her tummy joint bends and won't lock in place, her legs flail, and her arms snap back from fully extended and locked.. I can't even get her to look upwards! Plus the way she is strung, her legs snap together. I tried restringing her differently but nothing helps..

She's so beautiful, but a terrible poser. I don't think I'll buy from sugarble again, even though their sculpts are so precious..

 

So has everyone seen the snake girl who is finally up for sale? I'm quaking a bit a the price for adding on the parts, but she looks as amazing as I hoped!

 

I just looked at her on the site. Wow. The snake tail is pricey, but that's a lot of parts and you get a free extra head as well.
So I guess you could end up with a snake tail Hellena or whoever else. That is dangerous thinking, I need to stop thinking about that possibility- specifically in grey with the Adrian faceup and the glamour body. That would solve my issues with the hip joints, which are the only thing I don't really like about Sugarble's new body.
I'll have to leave the lovely snake girls and boys up to the rest of you, I have fallen for another greyish mature tiny, and I'm going to have to sell some stuff to make some money in time to order her as it is. My car always breaks right after I decide how I want to spend my tax refund.

 

I really like the 'the Mirror' doll as well and how the black snake tail has a marbled look to it without blushing.
Plus I liked the WIP photos with all the effort put into the details and how the tail can wrap around your hand.

 

Yeah, the tail looks pretty incredible. I've looked at Sugarble's dolls before, but this might be the one that draws me in. I also love how great the black tail looks, even blank. (Although of course I'd have to fall for the more expensive version. D: ) I'm just glad it looks like Sugarble has a reasonable layaway option. If I can manage it at all, I'll probably have to try, as I've been hoping for a good snake tail to come along, and the length and flexibility of this tail look great.

Also really happy about the gift head option, as I think I'd probably want to switch out for a "cuter" bigger head.

 

Malaryush if you do decide to go for a Sugarble girl (or boy! lol) they are *gorgeous* really beautifully sculpted, the website pics really don't do them enough justice!

Their resin is fantastic quality- Willow my Hellena was adopted and will be two years old next month but despite her age, there's barely any difference between the tone of her purebright (white) resin and that of my two newest girls who were made Jan/Feb this year

Sugarble offer excellent customer service- they genuinely couldn't have helped me more, the packaging of their items is really great- they pay such attention to detail.

The snake tail looks incredible-the way it's articulated is just wow and those scales must have been painstaking to sculpt ^^' I'm not a huge snake fan or would be all over this lol

(sorry for gushing but I just wanted to share how great Sugarble are as a company *blush*)

 

Heee, no, the gushing is good! It's always encouraging to hear from such happy customers; it makes me feel a lot more confident when considering the purchase. And since I do love reptiles and fantasy creatures, this girl is right up my alley. (And I've seen a few Sugarble box openings before - they really do have some of the nicest package presentations I've ever seen!)

 

I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of Sugarble for the following reasons-

~ Their customer service is excellent; they always reply to queries/emails very quickly.

~ They are exceptionally generous- during 'The Ladies' event they allowed me to purchase two Adelas; one with Adelas' face up and the other with Rebeccas' face-up along with gift parts for BOTH!! And, when I asked to add a set of demon parts to the order they offered them as an additional gift!! (I paid for the demon parts to be blushed)

~ They were fantastic with regards to layaway- I hadn't really done one before, Sugarble explained in detail how it would work and when I got abit nervous about sending the money, they were happy to invoice me for any payments I wished to make.

~ The packaging is done with extreme care- all the parts are neatly and individually wrapped to avoid damage/scratching.

~ Each doll comes in a beautifully crafted wooden box (complete with cushions!) with a personalised certificate of authenticity, dated with your dolls 'date of birth' which is such a lovely touch

~ Their face-ups are stunning in real life

In fact, in all honesty the only negative thing I can think of is that they don't include eyes.... ^^
