Oh Fox! she's sweet! My daughter has a Mirror too... though I don't get to play with her much..

Anyone ever have issues with sugarble? I have a mirror and a head on layaway which I just paid off today and they told me I still owe over $100... I double checked, Ive made 3 payments that are the full amount. I'm waiting to hear back from them after sending them my Paypal transaction receipts. :/

 

Eee, I hope it gets sorted out. Hopefully they just made an error in record-keeping, somewhere along the way.

I used layaway to pay off my girl, and although I paid it early/off-schedule, I didn't have any trouble.

 

Hi everyone, I've ordered Rebecca, who is a Sugarsleek R doll and am wondering what size wig to buy; 5/6 or 6/7? I think I want a wig from JPOP, but I've no idea which size would work. I don't want it too big or too small. Does anyone know offhand or have an R doll to measure? Thanks much!

 

They sell 6in wigs for the R kids, so I would get a 5/6. I can try to measure one of my kids later.

 

They fixed their mistake. And she shipped super fast! I had a nice surprise when I came home today!

Does anybody know if you get a quicker response from Sugarble from emailing them or posting a question to the board sort of thingie they have on their site? I broke down and joined their site and sent an email 4-5 days ago asking them if it was possible to get a different head instead of the default one for The She. I haven't heard back from them yet, which is why I'm asking if posting to the form is better to get a response.

 

Iron_Dog, I'm not sure what you are asking for. Do you want the outfit or shoes? The bodies for all the Sugarsleek S and R lines are the same. So the The She is basically the head name.

 

No, I want the The She, their snake doll (I'd go with the unisex body/torso, which is a choice offered, and the snake tail) and a completely different head than is offered. Adrian is the one I'd want if I went with a Surgable head. If I were to hybrid the doll, I'd go with a Soom Syen head. The character that this doll would be is a male albino naga, BTW.

There isn't an option to purchase just the torso/tail combo as far as I can tell and I most certainly don't want the "default" The She head as I really dislike it and it is pretty much the only thing keeping me from saying, "Here, take my money ad give me the pretty dolly". I also didn't see anything where you could purchase just a head either.

I got the wig as a gift but I need some eyes for her because the eyes I had, didn´t fit.

 

They are pretty agreeable. I would ask a very specific question, like:

Could I order [The She _ Act 3] no.1-S The Mirror with the Aidan head instead of the She head?

 

I got a reply pretty quickly using the "Message Board" link. They seem to have a whole lot of forms of communication, but at the time it didn't look like the "Support" board was getting a lot of activity, and I never had a reply when I tried the "1:1 communication" form.

 

And funny enough, I just got an email from them.

I think I've just doomed myself into saving for this doll *head desk*.

My one saving grace is that I'm saving for a limited small run doll that becomes available in October and I want him like burning since I saw the prototype in person at DollNorth this past May. So while I have more than enough already saved to purchase the naga, I still have a bit more to go to afford the doll that stole my heart earlier this year.

Ahhhh, why must the dollies tempt us so?

 

(Ooh, Orpheus, by any chance?) But yeah, I know how that goes. So many dolls, so little money. >_< I hate when it comes down to the tough choices. But at least since the snakies don't appear to be limited, there should be time enough to snag one later on!

 

Malaryush: Yes, it is Orpheus by Batchix. You think he looks good in photos? Even better in person, let me tell you. He actually inspired a character for a story (that was recently published *grins*). The only problem with buying this doll is that I will need to purchase his lover (SoulDoll Vito line Rail) *sigh* which will set back the date of when I could buy the naga doll. The Sugarble naga also inspired a story, but I'm still in the process of writing it. And, since all my dolls are couples... yeah, you guessed it. I'll need to buy his lover (Lume Lucas), too.

I'm gonna be sooooooo poor in my foreseeable future.

 

oh man. I was peaking into this thread to see what other heads might work on The Mirror body cause I adore that tail but not the face and I think that Sugarble's response about the head just moved this boy up my list. *facepalm* now I'm torn about which doll on my list is coming home first, don't know if I should be grateful that so far they're all available on layaway. heh.

 

I'd apologize for being a dolly enabler if I was the least bit sorry, but I'm not. Instead, you're welcome for the tempting info and what head were you looking at?
