1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Supia Girls Discussion Thread Part IX

Feb 21, 2021

    1. Thank u so much for the answer!
Unfortunately all the sizing i can see on Sartoria's store is SD, MSD... maybe im looking in a wrong way, i dont know

    2. SD basically means Iplehouse SID or EID.most of my SD sized girls are in that size range and stuff either fits just right or a bit loose (2012-era Soom SG, LoongSoul 69cm girl, DZ 65cm girls, etc.)

    3. Thanks a lot!
Im just very much unexperienced with the girls of this size. I have either smartdoll, DD, big Pasha, DC, Lillycats that r all smaller than 60 cms or i have boys 70+ n NK Stadnik that is over 80cms. Have been dreaming of Supia for years n years n it never happened... until now, i hope :))
Taking into consideration my experience with big boys, they never share the same clothes or shoes (i have popo70, 5th motif, idealian), so i thought that would be a problem for Supia too to find the exact match.

    4. Hi all have anyone heard from Supia lately? Their Q&A stop responding since Sep 11. I posted my question there and emailed them but got no reply. Need to ask faceup and ballerina feet to my order *_*

    5. I tried to mail them more than a month ago regarding some info cause I want to ordera body but never got a reply....

    6. would anyone be able to tell me if luts real skin white and supia white/cream white are a colour match?

    7. I just saw an angry post on their Q&A today and that gives me anxiety, so I went ahead and opened disputes for all my payments on paypal. I can’t get back the 1st payment as it’s over 6mths but will see if the artist replies. I ordered once from them before and it was good but idk what happens this time.

    8. Paypal did once refund a payment that was over six months because it was the down payment for an order I filed a claim on.

I think Supia is still a one person shop so anything could have happened. I hope everything works out.

    9. In my experience Supia replies to Q&A and email every 2 weeks or so. They are more responsive on Q&A than email.

Delivery times seem to be on the longer side lately. I received my order fine a couple of months ago, but it definitely took longer than their estimated processing time. Hope everything works out for you all!

    10. I also had some issues getting replies lately (in the past it might take them a couple days to a couple weeks, but this was a bit over a month), but got a response and my order has been updated to 'before shipping.' I was in contact with them because my address had changed since I submitted the order, but they've confirmed they got my address change, etc. Hope they got in contact with you at this point!

/edit - just wanted to add that even though it has definitely been longer to receive a reply, their wait time doesn't seem all that different than it has been throughout the pandemic, so I'm not concerned by the wait time (I ordered two dolls from Supia in 2020). Other doll companies I've ordered from in 2021 also have very similar wait times.

    11. Supia seems to be back? They just posted about a new doll in the News section and seems to have answered all the Q&A on their site.

    12. Yes finally they replied to my message on Q&A. They should have send a notice if the production is delayed by Covid because my order early this year was shipped normally. But they give me free makeup and free feet so I won’t complain anymore.

    13. Why? Why should they have spent time they quite obviously don't have to spare sending notice to individual customers about Covid-related delays? So it takes even longer to fulfill orders because they wasted time informing everyone of something we all already know by now? Covid has been wreaking havoc with supply chains and workforces for well over a year at this point, it's a fact of life that doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. Good for you that they gave you free makeup and feet, but I wonder how much mollifying you delayed other people's orders

    14. I don't know why you think I delayed other people orders? If you look at Q&A board there are many more people asking about their order status and those are ones paid in full. My order was in layaway for 6months and I didn’t ask anything until I paid my last payment and went to their website to notice them, then saw other people are asking about their orders, so of course I start to wonder why supia stops replying on Q&A for over a month.

Hobby or not this is still a business if they sell a product and if suddenly production has problem they should send make a notice on their website or send a mass email to all customers, or just make a post on instagram. But instead I only saw they posted new doll on instagram while ignoring customers message and emails. I did say their production was fine early 2021.

You should go to their Q&A and see an angry post of another one paid over $700 for their doll and still waiting. I wonder if you say the same thing if you buy other expensive product and the company doesn’t communicate for over a month.

I work for an art gallery and I send emails to notice customers right away whenever there’s a change with their thousands dollar paintings being ordered. Otherwise they can get their money back anytime.

so I don’t see the point where I worry about the company taking my money and not communicating has anything to do with others order? They don’t start making my doll until I pay all my layaway, which was over 6months. And just to be clear I did ask how to pay for makeup and ballerina feet for my order because I didn’t add them in my order but they offer those for free as an apology. If you are so angry maybe offer to help them instead.

    15. I really hope they get their business together again, and it was sad I couldn't finish my own order due to them because it had a lot of things I wanted and had to hunt down 2nd hand later. These communication problems have existed at least since this summer. I ordered a body at the very beginning of this year, and they emailed me in the end of March the shipping is scheduled to late April. I however heard nothing back from them so I wrote to them via the same email chain where they had earlier taken my add-on order (when I wanted to buy more, they had responded fast, within the same day). I inquired about shipping at the beginning of May and again at the end of May, and 20 days after the second inquiry Supia responded it has been delayed and will ship by the end of May. I heard nothing back in May, so at the beginning of June I inquired again. Nothing. I inquired again at the beginning of July and again in mid-July! Still Nothing, at this point it had been over 2 months since I heard from them.

Mid-July I got an "about-to-arrive" announcement from my own local Post that there is a random parcel that is sent to me and is still in Korea and has been stuck there for a month (I had multiple dolls on order at the time so had no clue). The sender name was a random Korean name unfamiliar to me. I noticed on 17track the parcel had some "abnormal" status updates about it getting returned to sender due to "invalid certificate of origin", whatever that meant, never saw such before. To get a message through I opened a PP claim within the very last days of my protection period, which finally got Supia to respond and confirm it was their parcel.

Soon after, the parcel got returned to them, according to their words, all soaked. It never left Korea despite all the address data being correct on it, and they didn't exactly give me an explanation as to why it happened except "Covid", but it was a very unhappy coincidence because at the same time all my other Korean EMS was arriving just fine within 2 weeks of shipment. They said these particular goods were too destroyed to resend but they would resend new goods to fulfill my order if I closed the PP claim. During any other circumstances I would have done so and waited for the new shipment, but being left absolutely alone without even bothering so much as to send me a tracking code or respond to me in 2 months when I simply inquire if this is my order, it did it for me. I did not want to risk being left in radio silence again if more problems occurred with the remade order, so I went through with it and got a refund. I had to call it their damages for their poor customer service, as wrong as I felt doing it to a small artist. However, I don't think I was all too much of a bother or being an unreasonable customer if after spending over half a grand I wanted to ask about the belated shipping approximately twice a month and waited 2 months for a reply before opening a claim.

    16. @vauhtikatti I’m sorry to hear that your order didn’t arrive safely. Luckily you still get your money back. The 1st time I ordered with them was Nov 2020 and the order arrived ok. The box had some damage but luckily the doll was fine. Sadly I didn’t like the normal skin so I sold her right away and placed new order when they released new skin colours. During waiting time I emailed them to extend my layaway and they replied within few days said it was ok, so I thought I was lucky they don’t have limit time for layaway.

They said my order has been put into production so I just hope it will be finished because I can no longer open disputes with pp. Tbh I didn’t check their website and their Q&A during those 6 months, just their instagram and I see they still post quite often. I even checked the artist personal insta.

I think the point to share all these information is for everyone to consider before placing an order with them, because let’s be honest not all of us being rich to just don’t care about $500 being lost for no reason. I’m glad they reply now but what if they don’t keep their promise? Who will refund my payment and other people money? If we don’t talk about what happened no one will know. Rather than releasing new doll I wish the artist made sure all current orders are delivered. I will update again hopefully by March next year if my Heeji arrives.

    17. I was wondering if anyone has gotten the new normal skintone called peach? I'm wondering if it's more like the color 6 or 7 years ago? It used to match Fairyland really well?? Does anyone have those two skin tones to check for me? Thanks so much :) :thumbup

    18. That's so disappointing and unfortunate! Although I've had similar wait times with other companies throughout the pandemic, other companies have been communicative about delays or with any questions, which I've really appreciated given these longer wait times.

Unfortunately, I don't have the new peach, but I'm waiting on a rose pink lina head and will have some comparisons with the ns body I have for the head (it's definitely pink, so hopefully they match okay!) and my other dolls.

    19. I'm curious to see rose pink too! Do you perhaps own any switch rosy white or dfa/dfh/2d doll pink skin to compare it to when you get it?

    20. Yes! I can compare the head to Doll Family - H. I'm putting him on a DF-H NS pink body and can also compare it to my telesthesia NS and old supia (2020) NS.
