1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

SUPIA - Lina and Lana - Elves & Humans

Nov 13, 2008

    1. Bridget McCall- Since my Roda is made from French Resin, she is smooth as silk and not lumpy or bumpy in anyway. Her seams were sanded to, and she is heavy because of the french resin. She is more like a artist doll since she is unique in design and structure, but she can pose just like the rest of the bjd out there. I am very impressed with Supia and would buy another one if I had the room.

    2. Is anyone else interested in getting one of these girls in tanned someday when Supia reopens tanned skin for ordering? :D

    3. I am I am! LOL

but i just dont know when they will be doing it.. and I dont want to order one and then say.. a month later they release tan.. = /

    4. Thanks both for the info - its great to know before one buys what to expect - but the face is sooo beautiful, isnt it that I think it would make up for any slight lack of smoothness as you describe. Thats it, I am sold! thanks.

    5. On the Q&A board they said they were thinking around summertime, which is awesome. :D

    6. THAT would totally work for me. A Tan Rosy. Please & Thanks! Though I want more of these girls in tan.. but ya know.. LOL. The wallet does not like that. I would Love to see a Tan Lana or Lina too. I can only imagine!

    7. I can't remember where I read the post, I know it was in another thread...
but someone said they waited about 5 months for their Supia doll to be delivered.

Having waited 5 months for my CH doll and still no word on shipping from them, I'm a little hesitant to order another doll that will take so long to ship.

I just wanted to ask whether there are some of you experiencing long waits for shipping, or whether Supia seems to be doing okay?

    8. winternight, I think that was back when they were only sold through Dollfair. It took so long because they had to be made, then send to Dollfair, then sent to you. But now they have their own website, so I think its much, much faster.

    9. So far they have also stopped doing makeup on the dolls as well, but hopefully they will restart doing that soon too.

    10. I can live without the make-up, and I'm happy to hear they're shipping a bit more quickly! I think it's time to order my next girl... :)

    11. Does anyone have an idea of how fast they are shipping, if they are shipping faster than when they were with dollfair?

    12. Sorry if this has been brought up and I just didn’t see it, but does anyone know about the shipping prices. When I look in the ordering boxes under zones it says free shipping through December 1-14 2008. 2008 has past, but that is still the only option. Is that still going on or is it a lack of updating?

    13. Supia is handling their own affairs now, rather than Dollfair. Their website is here now. It should have the most updated information there.

    14. ELF!!!! I love elf so much...
however.. I don't have money to get my second doll ...

    15. I heard from avrilpaeony in the Waiting room that Supia is now offering all their heads separately. :)

    16. I just saw in the news thread that Supia said they would offer bodies separately too but not sure when. Oh, I hope it is soon! What I really want is a white skinned body to go with another head, and a normal skinned Supia girl head to make into a boy. :) (or they could just start offering Supia boys)

    17. Does anyone know anything about what happened to these dolls? You now have to be a member, as I guess Dollfair is not handling them anymore. And I cannot log in to their site for prices or ordering information. The email I received back from them must have been in Korean so I am totally confused!

Any information would be gratefully appreciated!! Thank you in advance!

    18. You just need to join the website to order the dolls- it takes about fifteen minutes if you're slow and nit picky, like myself. Then the prices show up and ordering becomes available.

You can also order them from http://www.supiadolls.com the last time I looked (I think they may be a dealer?), but the prices are significantly higher, I'm assuming because you can not just order the dolls blank there.

Supia is holding an event as well (at the http://www.supiadolls.net website) where shipping is free until the end of the order period. How it works is, you calculate your order, and when you send your payment, ignore what the order says and just send your amount for the items you ordered. High heel feet by themselves do not qualify for the event.

Hopefully this helps you. If it doesn't, let me know (with more specific questions) and I will try my best to supply you with answers. :daisy

    19. As far as I know, these days you can only buy Supia dolls direct from www.supiadollz.net. Supia use to sell through an international dealer, but set up their own english website to sell their dolls direct. Because you're dealing directly with the company, this has reduced costs so the dolls are cheaper.

The international dealer at www.supiadolls.com has had no order periods since December 2008.

The website names are very similar so it's kind of confusing :?
