1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

SUPIA - Lina and Lana - Elves & Humans

Nov 13, 2008

    1. I had thought as much about the supia.com dealer, though listed it because I stumbled accross it by accident and didn't know if it was valid/moot or not. Good for clarifications purposes, though. Thank you!

    2. Thank you both! I still have not been able to join the site! Twice they wrote to me and told me they had to check with the webmaster. I guess they are having trouble with the site. But I did want to order one with the free shipping offer. So I will just have to wait!

By the way, how is the quality now? Posing, seams, painting??? Are they still worth getting? I have been looking at them for some time and figured they would be good as models for my site.

    3. I already signed up on the www.supiadollz.net with no trouble, so unfortunately can't help you in that department :sweat

I think the quality is the same as it always was, since the only thing which changed is the distribution process. Naiara did a long posing comparison between Limhwa and Supia so that might help understanding her posing abilities.

I'd tell you first-hand, but I'm in the middle of waiting for my Supia

    4. I was just about to point to that link. Naiara has only had good things to say about her dolls. I would also give you my opinion but I am in the same boat as Dev (what did you order?) so nothing from my camp for now.

I will let you know details once my shipment has arrived.

    5. Any idea how long the wait for supia is? I ordered Lana about 2 weeks ago. Wondering how much longer i should expect to wait.

    6. My, that comparison thread is wonderful. Thank you for posting it. I did not see it when I was searching for information. I had to laugh as at the end she said to buy a Zaoll and Narsha. I have both! And I do love my Zaoll, although the poor thing is still nude. My Narsha is dressed and has posed a bit on my site. I was looking for more SD dolls to have as models and was surprised that Dollfair was not selling them. I have two SD Naraes and several SD 13 and SD 10 Volks. So I am hunting around the various bjd sites for more dolls.

I will not give up yet but will wait until I get on the site to compare prices, etc. I like the fact she said how well Supias pose. That is a plus.

      Thank you everyone!

    7. A Tan Rosy~ Can't wait :fangirl: (I have my Zaoll Muse, but she's not the pretty dresses type, so it'll be nice to have a girl around)

Tiffany: I asked just that same thing to Supia, and they replied "4-5 weeks is normal time for producing largedoll. tan girls also same with them". A lot of people say it's regular for Supia to ship within a month also, though I expect them to be busier this time of year (especially with their Tan release and the free shipping event)

Dollsweet: If you're looking for prices, these are the current ones on the Supia site for blank dolls (for makeup, add $50 ($45 for MiniSup), for Wig and Eyes, add $50):

      Tan Rosy: $510
      Rosy/Roda: $480
      Lina/Lana: $488
      Yan/Yisol: $390

High Heel parts: $18 (tan resin: $20)
