1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Supia Tanned Roda and Rosy

Oct 14, 2006

    1. Thanks! I am happy, that I have at myself Rosy. Many thanks Katrina... I shall buy Now clothes for Rosy and wigs:)

    2. I just love this doll!

    3. Very pretty.

Catrina/Dollyholic - have the next batch of Supia Roda & Rosy orders gone in yet? Can you give us an estimate of when we'll be getting them? Thanks!

    4. I heard that the order taken in late January/ early February is going to be shipping soon. But haven't gotten the shipping notice yet.

We're going to hold another order the last week of March, and orders taken in between then will all join that pre-order. That will include everyone from the big girls all the way down to the Supia Babies. People are already putting orders in, understanding that it won't be sent until the end of this month. I think they worry they will miss the actual window : - )

There will be no French resin orders taken until further notice. The shortage shook them up a bit. Limhwa and Narin are continuing it, and Narin will be adding urethane options (like Limhwa) to take the pressure off supply of French resin.

      Thanks!
      Catrina

    5. I am glad that the companies will offer the urethane. As pretty as the French Resin is, it seems to cause a lot of drama. Personally I don't mind color change but I love the tan option, I think Rosy looks amazing in it.

    6. I would have loved to have my Roda in Tan or the Normal Beige Urethane, but since I have her in French Resin, she seems more heavier than my Limwha Eva, downside is French Resin yellowing some, but I still love her.

    7. Can't wait to get my tanned Roda. She's already got an Asian Indian/Arabic persona, but may be able to switch to Polynesian or Amerind or Hispanic. We'll see.

Now if only Supia or Limhwa would start sculpting Afro featured/colored babes....?

    8. Supia will begin shipping the last order soon, and they are opening up a new ordering period starting on the 24th of March. We are waiting to hear still if there are any new offerings in this ordering period.
Also, we have opened up a Yahoo newsgroup for Supia. Supia Korea will begin writing a newsletter soon, which will include doll gossip from Korea!
      The newsgroup is here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/supiadolls/
We will be posting info there on any shipping updates or new dolls coming up. It also has a photo gallery, and if anyone wants to post photos of their Supias, please have fun!

    9. Diva, your gal is gorgeous! I can't WAIT to get my tan Rosy, I have been distracted from my love of BJDs lately because of some rough personal issues and family problems piled on top of my deployment; but the love is still there, oh yes, it is!!! I can't wait for my Baby!!!!

    10. Will there be any new offerings this ordering period? I haven't seen any official announcements on DOA, but the Supia site says ordering period is now open~~~ I'm hesitating to order before I know whether something new is coming out!

    11. I don't think they have a new product this time, so I will be posting the ordering period opening.

    12. I'm having trouble deciding between the white urethane and the beige... I so wanted the pinky white French Resin, but since that's not being offered now I'm trying to warm up to the idea of the urethane. Which would be closer to the pinky white french resin... white urethane or the beige? I'm afraid the beige will be too dark, and the white will be too stark!:...(

Thank you Catrina, for bringing the most gorgeous dolls to us, and for representing such wonderful artists.

    13. winternight, I think beige urethane has yellowish tone. You can make a blashing with pinky color on white body. May be this way she gonna be not so stark?

    14. Catrina told me that the beige urethane is the closest to pinky white french resin

i you want a example check the babies on the supia site they are beige and its a very light and lovely colour very life like

    15. Thanks Vanilla.Sky... that's sort of what I thought I'd do, just add some body blushing if I get the white skin doll. It's hard to choose without first seeing one in person!

I forgot to check the babies out for color, roosje, I'll do that~ thanks so much.

    16. Winternight, the urethane is really nice. It has a wonderful texture, not plastic-y at all.

    17. I'm really happy to hear that, Stella Maris. My heart was so set on the luminous French Resin, it didn't matter to me if she yellowed. :...(

Now I just have to make the color choice, white or beige urethane and go for it~ such a simple decision but it's hard for me to choose! Regardless, I'm sure I'll love my Roda. I love all the Supia dolls!:aheartbea

    18. winternight: as Stella Maris just said, the urethane has a wonderful texture. It doesn't feel like plastic at all and both white and beige are very pretty tones. The beige urethane is very light and creamy, and is closer to the pinky white French resin than the white urethane would be. :)
