Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I'll wait, because I don't have an alternative...and being an artist myself, I can understand needing time to finish something properly. But...the little kid inside me wants it NOW-! Meanwhile, I still have my Limhwa & my Souldoll/Minimee to torment - uh, sew for. Lol, they spend more time nekked being fitted for new outfits than they do wearing any of them! Poor Roda/Aliyah when she arrives: she'll have tons of clothes, but never get to wear them because she's always being fitted for something new.

    4. I'd wait, I think; but it's unusual for Catrina to ignore multiple emails. Try emailing her at www.dollfair.com, which is her company that imports the Supias & Limhwas. Or try emailing Supia directly. If you place an order & pay for it, Supia SHOULD send it along with the doll, or at least ship it out on it's own directly.

    6. I think that Dollfair has been chaotic because they are moving. I wouldn't worry though, I have bought four dolls from Dollfair, including the incredibly beautiful Tan Rosy, and everything has been spectacular.

    8. Oh, absolutely she's reliable; I don't question that for a nanosecond. And she put up with MY whining & moaning & nagging when I was expecting my Limhwa, Bella, like a saint! Didn't know they were moving, but it explains a lot.

      Cat777, hon - hold on & hang in there; you're not getting answered because Dollyholic/Catrina is trying to move the contents of her business, and that involves a LOT of juggling of other stuff that MUST take priority. I got my Limhwa princess right on schedule (altho it felt like longer) from her, & we'll get our Supias just as surely, very shortly in the next few weeks. Now that I understand, I understand. Thanks, Moachan!

      Even negative news - the news is that there is no news - is reassuring & better than silence, though.

    11. I do agree, Cat: silence IS harder to bear even than negative news; at least with negative news, you know what's NOT happening, instead of being left in uncertainty.

      However, to keep your mind busy a little, I'll ask you for the following (and everyone else who's ordered & waiting, also:

      WHY did you pick a Supia? And why the Rosy over the Roda, or vice versa?

      Do you have any other 'bombshell' doll sculpts, like the Limhwa girls? If so, why did you get a Supia this time around, instead of another Limhwa?

      What are you going to name her?

      How did you arrive at that name? (Is it a favorite name, or from a favorite story, or in honor of a favorite person, etc.?)

      Does she already have a persona/character?

      Do you already have clothes, wigs, eyes ready for her?

      What "style" is she going to be, do you think? (For example, my Limhwa's style is definitely towards dramatic, over-the-top romantic gowns & historical repro outfits; modern clothes don't really become her, or she looks...awkward in them, somehow)

      What color eyes & wig have you decided on for her, if any?

      What is her personality like? Is she cool, aloof...or playful & cutesy...or the intellectual type...or serious & intense?

      What do you think are her likes & dislikes, if you have an inkling yet?
      (For example, Bella dislikes loud music, crowds, shopping malls, & fast food)

    12. Those are great questions. For me, Valencia is my only "bombshell". All my other girls are a little goofy.
      I picked Rosy over Roda mainly because of the mouth. Also Rosy looked very Asian to me, which I loved. Valencia's character is Thai, I think she is a perfect Thai or mixed race Thai girl.

    13. Valencia is stupifying; in fact, I admit freely I intend to "copy" her to a degree when Aliyah arrives.

      Heads up, Cat777: I just got notice from Supia/Dollfair that they're packing up Aliyah & shipping her out tomorrow, I think. They wanted to know which neighbor I want able to sign for her if I'm not there, so if mine is en route, then yours must be, too!

    15. Aliyah arrived last week; she was waiting for me at the door when I got home Friday. Poor kid, before she'd been out of the box 5 minutes she was being dremelled (fingers & toes seperated), ears pierced, sanded, velcro'ed, sueded, faceupped & body blushed by the time I went to bed.

      I DID try to copy Valencia, because she's so meltingly gorgeous, but I admit it just didn't come close, so Aliyah ended up with her own 'look' after all. I must admit, with the big wide golden brown eyes & the slightly open mouth & the hint of chipmunk cheeks (at least, my girl seems to have them), she give the impression she's just been goosed! LOL!

      I'll try to post photos here asap.

      We have Joan and Linzie answering the emails full time every day... no emails that we receive go unanswered.

      We cannot sell clothing now because the artist who makes it just had a baby. We have been given permission to keep the limited editions up though.

      ALL Supia dolls were shipped out either last week or Sunday from the airport. You should be getting them soon. There was one doll where the airport made a mistake and gave me the international postage label instead of a receipt... so that box is coming back here, and I have been asked to take it back and my friends there will fix it.

      Supia is a small company-- just the artist and her manager-assistant, who coordinates things with the casting. He gets very upset with delays, and that's why we've lost French resin and tanned resin this order. He feels things go faster without those options. I am working with him to get these back, at least a couple orders a year. Thanks for your understanding. I'm always doing my best for you guys.

I have the worst luck with this... first, after wrestling for a while, I finally made the decision to get French Resin and it was cancelled just as I was to place my order... so I got a beige urethane. Then I decided to get a tan doll next... and now that's been cancelled! :doh All well, I guess I'll be patient and wait to order my next Supia when one of those options opens up again. Haven't I have got great timing!!!:lol:
