Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. Zag-- yes, you can order them in beauty white or normal beige urethane.

      Bird of Hermes- yes, that is a good idea. I will try to get a shot of the different resins.

      As far as resin types-- the pinky white french is similar to Supia's pinky white color. The normal beige and beauty white urethanes are matte in texture when they are unsanded. If you prefer a shiny texture, you can sand them lightly, and they become shiny. The artist prefers to ship them unsanded, and that way you have a more lifelike (matte skin) appearance for them.

      I'll try to post photos of all the resin colors tomorrow, when we get a little sun here.

      Yes, you can order Mono.. although we have a strict limit of dolls we can order in this ordering period so we hope those who are waiting for Mano will get in too : -)

      And regarding Mano's face, well.. he's become a tourist attraction here, and you have to see him to love him. I don't think the artist will make a new face for him.

    8. Thank you very much for the comparisons, that helps me get a much better sense. Out of a curiosity- does the French resin handle sanding well? I'm turning into quite a mod-a-holic so I'd like to get all the information I can. Also I know French resins tend to have yellowing issues- do you know anything about how this one handles the longer term?

    9. The French resin is easy to sand and it is nontoxic (though you should still protect from inhaling dust).

      Since you are living in a hot and sunny spot, I'd coat your boy with several layers of sealant such as Mr. Super Clear UV Cut. All resin tends to yellow, but especially with heat and light exposure. If you are worried about this due to your location, then I'd suggest getting the Limho in normal beige resin. This has a yellow undertone, and will cover any color change nicely. (see resin color comparisons)
