1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Tax Return Doll Plans?

Apr 24, 2018

    1. I never get very big returns because I don't like to overpay throughout the year, but I do have $800 sitting in my doll account, and I'm not sure what I want to do with it. Originally, I thought I would buy a doll off my wishlist before my birthday at the end of the month, but I have so many unfinished dolls. I don't really want to bring in another one. I think I'll just keep working on my existing crew and sit on my money until something irresistible comes along.

    2. I didn't end up using my tax return for doll stuff. I have a huge credit card debt that I've been working on paying off for a while and a good chunk of my return had to go towards that.

    3. I had to use our return to fix the car. I really wanted to buy a doll this year. I did get a back payment from disability this month but that money is going to pay off the credit cards (one down one to go!) plus my husband told me he wants to get a switch before I buy a doll. I guess I can vent to you guys that I'm pretty p.o.ed about it. But the clock is ticking and he wants one of the hackable units before they become hard to find, so I understand. Sorry, I blabber.
