Tensiya's release of Dollshe Heimdall DO Bermann discussion thread

I guess all we can do now is wait and hope they're going to do something about it, not sit back and worry.

I agree with Lord Ros on this one. Acknowledgement of the problem would be nice.

 

So how many was it this time around? If it was only 20-40 then he is gone, but I really wish Anu would make a standard Bermann that way everyone that wants him can get him any time and customize him to their hearts content, they made Hound standard.....that's just my 2 cents.

 

My first thought when this whole debacle arose was that I'd typed my e-mail address incorrectly, but it's totally correct in the confirmation notice I got after right after ordering. I just went to my information on the Tensiya page and it's correct there as well. Very strange.

 

It's awful that this has happened though. The has got to be one of the worse forms of frustration for an ABJD enthusiast. It is already frustrating enough for the project being delayed and the website not being updated at all regarding this.

Anyway, it seems that Luis Dobermann or the "The Dobermanns" is their next release. If you can see on the Heimdall page, they updated the list of DO Bermanns.

I feel that I may have been cursed by fate, but if I do get one and both my 2 friends got theirs as well, I will consider this incident a sign and will have to give him up to someone who was really frustrated for the false hope this may have brought.

What's your ISP? I use Cox Cable... Never got an email from Tensiya at all in the entire time I've been a member

 

that's ok Sandwich i'm in the exact same situation.... never a word from Tensiya, and my email is definitely correct in my info page, etc.

 

One by one.. the Bermanns stole our sanity *sigh* I hope Anu and Momo sort this out swiftish.

 

I know, as if the delay wasn't bad enough... I haven't slept more than six hours in the past 3 days because of this ;_; And it's such a... huge... disappointment for so many people. I understand they're probably reluctant to deal with it at Tensiya, but I hope they understand that we want news soon...

And yes, I saw that. But with Berman's rise in popularity, it's only going to get worse from here. That's a sweet guesture, Lord Ros, hopefully it won't be necessary, if you get yours I hope you are able to enjoy him - Heimdal is beautiful.

Also, I went back through my trash folder to make absolutely sure I did not get an e-mail from Tensiya when I ordered that wig last night. I thought it was possible that I have an abominable memory and somehow didn't remember deleting an e-mail only hours before. I should trust my senses though; there's nothing at all. Nothing when I joined, nothing when Heimdall was to be released, nothing from the wig, and certainly nothing from the doll.

 

I think I'll go cry now..... ;_;

 

It's the same here. I never really wanted to deal with Tensiya because of the long waits that people went through, although I admire and appreciate their work. Luckily, I am more for a less subtle make-up, hence I never considered them in the first place. I know people will probably tell me off for saying this, but I must say that this has been officially a disaster in ABJD history. I believe that the Tensiya people are very sincere and are indeed extremely nice, just not too experienced with handling a business and organising.

I already accepted that most likely I did not get him, I think I am already accepting the situation, so when the results come out (as to who got who), it would be nice to bring a smile one someone's face if I did get lucky (unlikely), but Luis Dobermann is keeping my hopes up. I am just trying to concentrate on him for now.

Cheer up people! Think about the new things you could buy with $1036... and my friend was told by Momo that it should not take any longer than 2-3 months for the next release of Bermann. There has also been a hint in one of the Q&A I had with Momo that a tanned Bermann may well be a possibility. ^_^

If only Mr. DOLLSHE knew how coveted his dolls are... he might just make a new unlimited Bermann *wishful thinking*.

 

I've never received any emails from Tensiya either, and I have checked several times to make sure they have my address correct. I registered late last year (not sure..maybe September/Oct).

I totally agree with you. Luts can handle having a LE sell out in short periods of time and this doesn't happen (sure it isn't this few but their system doesn't fall apart). Maybe Volks see's that they cant handle this and this is why they have a lottery? Whatever the reason, Tensiya had problems and while I can sympathize with that, I cannot understand why there is no activity from them yet. Tell us your sorting through it. Tell us something! And the days it'll take to get refunds. Oh my! *sigh* Yes this is a disaster. Sure only having Bermann be LE 11 is cool but with the popularity maybe they should re-think it? Just my thoughts...

 

This is just so depressing... I'm starting to think that if he isn't absolutely perfect if I get him that all this angst might not have been worth it. ><

But we'll never get an unlimited bermann I'm afraid. Some people who have him already might be a bit peeved xD the limited quality to their doll would be non-existant and the heartache and stress caused to get him, only for him to become unlimited, that's certainly something that would irritate me.

 

Yeah, I'm ruing the fact that I jumped up and down and screamed for about thirty minutes (along with much rejoicing and hugs from my mother) about this... I mean, I love Berman,but this is ridiculous. Mr.Dollshe needs a reality check,I think - I never hear anything about the man and with Berman's exlosive popularity it would be nice to have an unlimited version.

Well - I'll hold out for the next release, though it'll probably be just as bad as this one. I've never dealt with Tensiya before for just this sort of reason, they're not so um... great with business. And I agree with Lord Ros, this is a fiasco in ABJD history.

 

Thats what scares me. Next release? Is this bound for a repeat? Count me out!

 

I really really hope I got him this time, cause I don't want to have to go through this again! It'll probably be even worse with the next release, what with everybody seeing what happened this time.
