Wow.... that really sucks. I'm so sorry for all those who didn't get one.

 

AHHH! We got him o_o My mother with her savvy reflexes was on her account and scored him - we're the last name on the list T_T Omgomgomg so happy.

 

Yes, I think it sucks. Some of us didn't order this time, in hopes that we like the next one better. Is Anu, going to basically sell out the next one, to all you guys who tried this time, before he is even on the drawing board?

I am the opposite of you L-lamb, I didn't want this one, but I might well want the next one, am I already screwed because so many of you wanted this one and filled up their order books?

 

But L-Lamb got one o_O Just has to repay, I think because the paypal got messed up the first time.

The point of a limited is, everyone starts out with the same chance to get him, some do and some don't, if you don't, you just try again next time.

 

Yeah it does suck... and if it's sold out before it's even released I think I can kiss my chances goodbye of ever owning a Berman. I think I'm going to cut my losses right now before a fiasco like this last sale hits me too.

Why don't they release some naked Berman???? The limited would still be special... but it would help eleviate the frustration some people have of trying to own one. Hell, I'd probably buy a naked one and customise him myself. it's a bit unfair that only one person can create a Berman... There's a lot of talented artists out there and I'd love to see what they would do with a Berman.

it really sucks I can't start to imagine the disapointment and frustrations of people who thought they got him and paid for it... got their payment accepted by Tensiya then this turn around.... it's really not good.

 

I think Anu has been a little overwhelmed by the response to this round... maybe if you all tell her how you feel about there being a resevation list, as it were, she might change her mind.

 

I'm so disappointed. I wanted him *so* bad. Probably no one knew I wanted him but my close friends, as I haven't been talking about him publically.

I didn't make the list of 11, but I'm the 3rd person on the 'Candidacy' list, which makes it even worse.

Are three people gonna give him up? No, of course not.

I know it's silly, but I can't stop myself from crying over this. What a horrible way to start my day.

 

awww well, for all the people who didn't get a Bermann and would like to see him anyway, all of us who managed to get him can PICSPAM for you guys when they arrive! I know I always love drooling over everyone else's Bermanns~

and it's not the end of the world! there's still one more release of SA Bermann and 5 more of DO! keep your chins up~!

 

And the best part is, the longer you wait, the more special he will be. The last Bermann is the most special one.

 

Well mine got cancel too, I got my refund this morning, but at least I know I am on the priority list for the next issue..Hopefully the next SA...

i'm in the same boat, thesarahgina.. i've been wanting him ever since i got into BJDs, which was about a year ago.. just after the sale of HDM Bermann ended.. hah.. I sat through watching the wait of the HDMs and the arrival.. And then now i try to order this guy and get totally thwarted.. sigh..

no one really knows that i want him either.. only really close friends whom i've talked to about him.. fangirled to about him. sigh.. i really wanted this guy.. he would've been so perfect for the character i had created around him, but alas, i will now have to wait for the next batch..

here's hoping i will be able to get him in the next round~~

 

There is still a way to try and alleviate the situation.

It seems to me that Anu does not have any idea how much Bermann is loved and wanted. She said herself that she thought we only wanted 5-6 Bermanns. I am guessing she was expecting the rest to be from Japan and other Asian countries.

If only she could understand just how much he is very popular here in the western world, perhaps we could make a suggestion that she could add at least 22 extra Bermann Limited releases to compensate for the people who had faulty orders. I don't think bitching at her would make matters any better. If anything, voicing out the real "hurt soul" behind all the anger would make this possible. It was Anu who wanted exclusive rights to the mold, I don't understand why she can't ask Mr. Dollshe again to make extra Bermanns.

I got one, however he will go to the person who is a friend and is someone who wanted him badly. That is not to say I do not want him badly. I do. I just think a promise is more important. Besides, I really want a Luis Dobermann. It seems he will be the next release, as his status is "preparing". I agree that it would be unfair for the people on the priority list to get priority on Luis, but at the same time this whole incident was unfair on them. That is why I think a proposal of striking a deal another 22 releases of Bermann would be the ideal solution. However, I am not certain as to what the feasibility of this is, but I am sure we can do something about it.

It certainly expresses how sad and frustrated most of us are about how difficult it is to get these dolls and even a priority list doesn't avtually help as it squezzes out a whole bunch more of us who also want Berman, but just didn't want this particular LE version of him.

 

Please don't exclude us Asians as well T_T I am from Malaysia and I had been looking forward/waiting for a Bermann for a very long time, and I did not manage to get him.

I really hope Anu will read and understand how much all of us love this boy and would very much love to be able to get him without being put through so much stress [and four straight days of hoping and repeatedly refreshing the tensiya/doa pages] ;;

The boy really breaks my heart, but I'm going to keep trying and trying again. It feels terribly futile though, so many people want him.

I am so right there with you. I have wanted him for so long that I know I will keep trying, but it DOES feel horribly futile.

 

Many people love Bermann. I'm one of them too. I'm also one of those whose order is cancelled, so I share everyone's despair. But everyone, let's keep this in mind, right at the beginning we knew he's limited and only the first 11 will get them. So now only the inevitable had happened. Only it's more troublesome this time because of the paypal refund.

I don't deny that thinking that you finally got him but turns out you didn't is a very heart wenching experience but there are 55 chances left. Just be patient for him.

For me, I've realized that I can easily mod a SA Hound into the character I wanted for my hound. So I'm out of the race. Every other fellow Bermann lovers, I pray for your better luck next round.

 

So... The people on that list... Those are the people whom got the doll? Did *I* actually get a Bermannn?!? OMG! gah. I GOT A BERMANN!!!!!

 

This is the answer I got from Momo. So there will be a reserve list, and they're changing how they're going to sell him.
I think I'm going to put my name on the list, cause I don't think I could stand another evening like that.
