Tensiya's release of Dollshe Heimdall DO Bermann discussion thread

I'm wondering if it could be blocked by your firewall or something, as I can get http://tensiya.com just fine (no updates though) - are you posting from work? Are there any other sites you can't access?

You're not alone there Although I have Husky in my wish list, I would really love a DO Bermann. It's not an option this release, but maybe the next one

I so agree,this is making me nuts. But I suspect it is part of the marketing strategy, to build a fever over them. Not that we all aren't in a fever already.

 

I know, I'm literally starting to lose sleep over this. Not voluntarily; my nerves are just killing me. It's stupid of me to work myself up like this when the chances are so low anyway, but I can't help but have a shred of hope.

 

There is a high possibility he won't be. After all, we all have witnessed the unreliability of Tensiya. Not that I have anything against them. I do understand all these delays.

 

oh yes. me too. last night was awful, especially when i already had so little time to sleep as it was! in 40 minutes i need to catch the bus to campus, too, to take my unstudied-for calc final.... ohdear.

 

I'm losing sleep over this one as well.I'd love to take a tally of how many people actually have the funds and are going to try for him.

And I shall not speak at all unkindly of anyone if I don't sleep all four days and he is still not out.

God, yes. I just woke up after sleeping five-and-a-half hours and having the stupidest BJD-related dream ever.

Somehow, I got to the Tensiya site at the right time, only eight of those eleven Bermanns? Were Souldoll one-offs. Two of them were Hounds, and only ONE was a Bermann. @_@

Even if I don't make it on time, I think Souldoll should be the very least of my worries. XD

 

Well, all things taken into account.

The Won vs the UDS has changed quite alot. Sooooo, the price for the doll should go up. The prices of the previous Bermanns do not reflect the cost of shipping....so that price is misleading....Haute's has shipping in the price.

If the outfit is more elaborate...the cost will go up. If the cost of the polymer goes up, the price goes up.....many polymers are derived from oil, and we all know what's happened to the cost of light sweet crude.

Will she use silk? Or will it be a man made fabric?
I believe she states that the cost of the doll will and can change from edition to edition...
The truth of the matter will come out soon....

Meh, I've been losing sleep and having stupid Bermann anxiety dreams since August.

I don't really think it's sadism or a marketing strategy (there's really, at this point, zero chance of Tensiya having to deal with a warehouse full of unwanted Bermanns). I think they're just rather unorganised and have no idea they're driving us crazy.

 

Well, intentionally or not, the last Bermann releases have acted as an appetizer for the Hound craze... a lot of people who didn't get a B-boy then, and/or whose interest was aroused by him coming out, went from there straight to getting Hound. Whose release was held back until the Bermann sale was over. Sort of, an unlimited doll to satisfy the unfullfilled craving for the strictly limited one... I remember a lot of people here on DoA actually expressing this when they thought about getting Hound.

I think this could be just the same effect... two new boys announced, but being kept back until this Bermann version is thru. There will again be many, many people who might consider another Dollshe boy after Bermann has eluded them, again - you know how a doll you couldn't get leaves a void sometimes. And the new releases are already being discussed here as how much (or little) they might look like B-boy. Could be coincidence, but ...-?
Bermann began as a trial-and-error-first-doll for Dollshe... and now he is pretty much their greatest myth. Look at us, and we're just the top of the iceberg^^

Oh, I agree with that, Mandagore, I just don't think the current "it'll be any day now, no we don't know just when" or the, what has it been, six month delay are part of a marketing strategy.
