The Majority of your Doll collection is which size?

Right now my collection has many sizes, these are all full dolls as I didn't count the rolling heads. ^^ It's very close with both SD and MSD. Here are the statistics.

70cm: 5
SD: 11
MSD: 12
Tiny: 5

 

Looking at my original answer to this thread, I think it's time for an update.

The majority of my crew are still 1/3-scale SDs in the 57-65cm range... They account for about three-quarters of the entire tribe.

That said, there are now 4 giants in the bunch... two Iple EID guys (one Model and one Superhero), one Iple EID girl and a ridiculously tall, gangly Doll Chateau Dolores. There are also several Soom SuperGem guys (including one hoof-wearing Heliot on the taller Legend body-), one SuperGem girl and a basically SD17-sized Luts Senior Delf/Doll Family hybrid. Plus, there's a Volks SD17 on his way. Those dolls are all a fair bit taller than the "average" height of my smaller Delfs and SD13s.

The 1/4-scale Mini population is about the same as it was four years ago... Two Volks MSDs and five Fairyland MiniFees... Though they've also been joined by an oddly-scaled new-comer. A Bishonen House Steve, who, while closest to the minis size-wise has very different proportions.

The 1/6-scale Tiny population has sort-of exploded... I still have the two Soom tinies, as well as my first pair of LittleFees. They've been joined by a pair of Volks YoSDs, a Soom Fairy Legend Crow and a whole horde of other LittleFee friends.

The 1/12-scale Micro collection has also grown a bit... My Banji, who used to be the only representative of his size group here, has been joined by a pair of impossibly itty-bitty Dream High pixies; a Chibi Feliene and a Pico.

So, all in all, I'd say my bunch have become a more diverse collection over the last couple of years. The smaller 1/3s are still clearly my favored size, but I seem to have become at least a little more open to other possibilities. ^_^

 

Well since my current collection includes just 1 doll, my vote went to MSD! But I have a Pukifee coming with multiple faceplates (so I'll need to get at least one more body) eventually my Tinies will outnumber my MSDs for a time.

 

I have only SDs (17 boys complete and 4 without body, but they get definitely their bodys). I just want to buy only SDs, it's the right size for me. I have sold the Tiny's and MSDs after I had the SDs.

 

Most of my dolls are SD size, 15 complete. I have another 8-9 that are work in progress or pending arrival.

 

68-70cm: 2
60-65cm: 2
Yo-SD: 1
Pet: 1

Hopefully my next move and I can have most if not all of them out instead of on pair rotations.

 

The majority will be SD/60cm-ish and up. ^^;;
I think they're pretty heavy to be handled but I love them anyway~ XD

I have 2 MSD, 1 SD and 1 65cm+.

 

I currently have an 80cm boy, three 70cm boys (one of them is to be sold though but still in my possession), and one in the 60cm range. I'm planning to add another 80cm boy in the future... ^^ I can't seem to be able to keep the smaller dolls I've had, I've gone through quite a few.. :/ I guess I'm an SD person.

MSD all the way. My two SDs are just too big to cart around so they hang out together and my MSDs are the ones I bring out to play.

 

2 of my 3 dolls are msd and with 1 more on the way msd definitely has the majority. That size just seems to have the sculpts I love

 

I have one MSD, one Yo-SD (and one on layaway), and one tiny (and one pre-order). So I guess it's a two or three-way tie.

 

Mine's changed a lot since this...Mostly my Tiny and Mini collection kinda exploded!

not counting floating heads not counting three off-topic dolls (all about pukifee size) but am counting 5 off-topic dolls (all tinies). Also not counting my one mini on the way.

I think my Tinies and my SD+ are almost tied! Too bad the SDs can't fit on one shelf like the little ones can :\

 

Most of my doll collection is 70cm (about 10), with a sprinkling of SD & MSD

 

Most of my dolls are shelling adult characters so are SD/SID/EID/SuperGem/Idealian. I've got some MSDs (middle school kids) & tinies for the kids, & I've got 4 high school kids 55 cm - 62 cm (boys & one YID girl). But they all interact as characters. So all my furniture etc is 1/3 scale (except for the toys for the little kids LOL).

I really prefer the smaller sizes, but pretty faces keep breaking my resolve and I keep buying SD's (currently waiting on two). But I think I'm going to stick to MSD and YoSD in the future.

 

The poll results are really surprising. I always hear people discussing how much they love the smaller sizes and the big dolls are too big for whatever reason, but they won over 50% of the poll!

Personal count: 4 MSD, 2 YoSd, 1 tiny.
SD is next on my list.
