thing you would love to see in the bjd world?

Jointed wings! Maybe orchestrated something like the jointed hands I've seen. I'm not sure how they would attach to the doll (would magnets be too weak?), but they'd be amazing to have. Especially if what you bought was just the basic skeleton and you could choose how to 'furnish' it (stretched fabric for bat wings, feathers for angel wings, etc.) yourself.

And similarly, a bat doll with jointed wings instead of arms. Most of the animal dolls I've seen don't really appeal to me, but I'd be all over a bat doll. Even if it had a big old bat nose and squinty eyes. :P

 

Hmm~ I know Ameican girl might be a bit big for MSDS and My Twinn a bit big for SDs, but they have a lot of accesories and furniture. =3

You should really check out Tinybear (the persons name on this forum^^) Mer-Moona, she is a bit small mermaid. Quite cute!

 

Some more mature tinies & some guys to go along with them. And clothes for those guys. New releases in standard SD size rather than all the bigger ones most companies are doing now. There are some gorgeous & very creative dolls in the bigger sizes but anything bigger than 60-65cm are just too big for me.

Magnetic wings would be nice too. More hands in a variety of positions, like Luts offers & high-heeled feet for the girls.

 

I saw this in a magazine so I know it exists but I haven't heard of anyone here with it (so far) but I would want and would like to see a bjd violin body.
also: tiny decora nail stickers

 

I'd like to see maybe a scaley reptillian type of doll.

 

Mature MSDs and greater variety of MSD-sized fantasy dolls.

 

I would absolutely love to see a mermaid. I saw that an artist on the artist's subforum is in fact working on a mermaid- I may too one day. But I'm unsure of a company making one. It would be phenomenal though.

 

MSDs that are mature and IN PROPORTION. C'mon doll companies even tiny lil Asian men with ripped abs and near boob pecs do NOT have stick thin arms and thighs!

A broad shouldered MSD, one likes a sturdy set of shoulders to hang onto when the going get fast!

A long red wig... I see them but never for sale....

 

I really hope I don't offend anyone with this, it certainly isn't intended, but...

Dolls that look more ethnically accurate. I mean yes, the tan dolls are really pretty but they look (and from what I've seen, mostly are) basically a white or normal skin doll just "painted" darker. I have a character that's half Hatian that I'm hoping to make into dolly-form, and I know Iplehouse has some very nice darker skinned dolls (personally I'm leaning towards the Darker Cocori, she's beautiful!). But I would love to have more of a variety to choose from, and also have some non-limited versions of them.

It would also be nice to have other ethnically accurate dolls, like for instance, an Indian doll, or a Native American doll or such. I'm just not sure the market for them... But, but... I would definitly buy some up!

Then again, maybe they have made some and I just haven't seen them...

 

I wouldn't be offended, as I'd like more dolls with Asian shaped eyes. However, I'd be a little scared of how Chinese or Korea doll makers might stereotype Native American dolls, I mean American doll companies think sticking a headband on, a few feathers and some scruffy fringe makes a doll representational of well over 100 different cultures.

 

Ive noticed a lot of people looking for gloves and I figured Id let folks know that there are some on ebay http://stores.ebay.com.hk/bjdtotalonlineshop they have whole gloves and some fingerless. I hope that helps

 

What are some thing you would like to see in the world of bjds ?

My boy will be a doctor like his father, I want him to have all of those medical things, but so far I can only find the doctor's jacket / gown [whatever its name] for him.

 

I, too, would love to see some mature tinies!! I love mature MSD's, and in fact my MSD girl is more <ahem> endowed than my SD girl >.>;; So to have little grown ups even smaller to add to my collection would be perfect!! I think of them all as the same size in my head anyway

Other than that, I'd like to see more unusual anthro dolls. Along the lines of what SOOM have been doing, only more drastic. Some of the characters I'm thinking up have distinct features, but the teeny anthros (like Pipos etc) just won't cut it. An SD size true anthro would be awesome!! Rather than hooman with attachable bitties. Though there might only be a market of one there

More naturally posed hands. All my dolls seem to have thumbs that stick out o.o People tuck their thumbs in a lot, I've noticed sometimes when I pose them, they always seem to end up in positions that their thumb would look better tucked away rather sticking out like a hitchhiker That would be nice

 

More variation in facial structure. Unidoll, Soom and a few other companies have done some nifty things, but it's only a start.

More figure variation. Can't say it enough.

I have several characters I'd love to have dolls of, but there are no sculpts of shorter stocky guys, or curvy, solid women. I'm going to have to match heads of one size with bodies of another and then mod them like crazy to even get near what the characters should look like, all because they're not long and lean.

 

I'd love to see a girl mold that had some serious bodacious curves!
Another thing...room boxes! Like, bedroom, kitchen, etc...complete with decorations, furnishings, wallpaper. I would pay anything for something like that to be professionally made & on a scale meant for larger BJDS. I've seen some pretty cool dollhouse furniture that fits pukis and Yo-SD...but I want something for the big kids!!

 

I would like to see more face and hand options. I would love it if CP release Shiwoo smiling or frowning just to add some variety to my photos. And different hand gestures link waving, fist, pointing, and peace sign.
