thing you would love to see in the bjd world?

First I'd probably say that I'd like to see more smirks/smiles in doll design. I'd really like to see more variety in expression, really.

Aaaand second, I'm going to sound like a perv for saying this: Penis options for guy dolls. I mean Spirit Doll in that respect have the good option going there. It just comes as part of the doll and to be honest that's something that's just part of being male. In addition that led me to think 'what if someone didn't want it to be that small/big'? I mean you can get girl dolls with bigger or smaller bust sizes, why not have the same with guy dolls too?

We were actually talking about this the other day in a chat I go to and we thought about what would happen if someone made a jointed one (kind of like the jointed hands).

I'd like to see some companys selling bjd weapons (you see some of the display pics with weapons but they're never for sale. Like DoC Petshas sword)

 

I'd like to see more anthro dolls in all sizes, (MSD, SD, etc), rather than just the tinies they have around. I know Soom has hooves/claws etc, but I'd like to see some of the facial features in BJDs be animal-like too. Don't care too much for the "fur" to be honest, I'm much more interested in seeing them look animal-like than to see furry-humans.
I would buy one right away if they started making them.

 

Seeing as I am soon to be on the search for one, I would love to see more BJDs that have a stronger ethnic look to them, specificaly East Indian or Native American I really love their strong features though they are usually difficult to find in the BJD world and when you do they are usually on very realistic sculpts.

Would also like to see more wing sizes, styles, colors and types offered-the catch: in HIGH quality. I don't mind paying the little extra to get what I want so long as they are actually worth it. They can be actual feathered wings, resin wings, cloth wings, jewel wings, etc. Doesn't really matter, just more variety.

Lastly, though this one's sort of dreaming, I'd love it if all companies always sold extra/seperate parts, and I don't just mean extra hands, feet or heads. I mean if they sold extra arms, legs, and torsos as well. I know there is always the issue of resin match, but it does worry me sometimes that something could happens to one of my boys, his arm would be broken or something to that degree and my only option would be to try to fix it which would probably result in a large obvious scar or to buy ane entirely new body.

More smiles on larger female dolls. Not just knowing glances or smirks, but some real, large, genuine, happy smiles... I knwo some exhist, I'd just like to see more.

Note: I ADORE the moodier molds. I just think a big, happy smile to walk into would be a nice change!

 

I'd like to see an SD sized bjd series that is proportioned like the MSDs. Bigger kids, I guess.

OH, holy cow! Wouldn't that be awesome!? I loved Animorphs and would probably mod on to look like the Ax-man!

I'd also like a unicorn doll, like what Unoa has, only produced so that more than one person can buy it. ^-^

 

BJD sized doll houses. XD Sure they'd take up a whole wall and cost a fortune, but...

More mature minis. More tan skin dolls. Some custom fiber wig makers, instead of so much fur and mohair. (Nothing against fur or mohair, just not the style of my dolls.) More nifty colored resin options (like the clear resin parts soom has... So cool!). More hand options. (Including things like fist hands with fingerless gloves sculpted in the resin I could blush/paint.) More swords, more props, cheaper furniture...

More options for MSD sized headphones/mp3 players/etc... Since SD get the super awesome resin ones, I want ones for my MSD, too.

Furniture/Props that are more modern. I find a lot of nifty couches and stuff, but none are Sanyu's style. Nice sleek basic black, please?

I would like to see more Sari and Belly Dancing stuff in different sizes, but that's just because I think that style of stuff is so pretty. ^_^

I am still voting for more variety in body types, though we're beginning to see more of that lately with sculpts like the Iplehouse EID boys and Tinybear's Coco/Bonbon.

I'd like to see a truly athletic female body sculpt, too (though I hold out hope for the EID girls, which have yet to be revealed). Just overall a bit more variation in body type... more small-busted, slim-hipped girls, or dolls with a little more pudge.

I'd like to see more doll companies offering tan or darker resin... though I understand it's more difficult to cast, I'm willing to pay a little more for a doll in tan because of it.

I've said this one before, and I'll say it again. More mature, masculine mini boys. (Masculine in the face as well as the body).

 

less "limited dolls", prices more affordables, more big adult dolls (i mean 90+) real animal dolls, more skin choices, more optional parts, less big child dolls (for example theres a company that made a big child doll, nothing to say is very well made but..for this, for me, and im sorry to say it if someone could get angry, for me is a pedo-doll)

 

Shipping fee not that outrageous !!! I was browsing Dollmore and what I was lurking on is around 2$ ... for 22 $ of EMS shipping, why not on this case of none dolls products allow buyer to choose another shipping method ?!

Even if I add a few others items, what I lurk on is still around 2/3 $ ( I lurk on some accessories) that's still a small amount vs big shipping fees ....

 

If I could have any type of doll feature, I have to admit I'd like to see more variety in ear attachments. You see a lot of elf ears but I'd like to see mermaid ears ( there are some but not too many ), cat ears ( same story, and their mostly for smaller sized dolls ), mouse ears!!!!! and I'd really like some android looking ears. I''m not meaning chobits pink and white things, more techno-esc and less cutsey. Mecha type ears If that makes sence.

 

There are so many things! But one in particular..
I would want to see companies make bigger dolls, like 80 cm or so that are cute (like not just taller but also more compact and cute looking) Like having an 80 cm Peak's Woods doll! That would be so much fun!! I find all bigger dolls look older..I haven't found any cute ones! ;_;

I think I'd like to see a few more masculine dolls - right now it seems I find them all from one company. Beautiful androgynous boys are good and fine, but when it comes down to it, I have some boys that the look just won't fit! I'd like to see more handsome boys, and maybe even a few homely boys too.
Beyond that, a few more with actual ouchies - like Volks' Cecile the Scarface, that's just awesome.

 

I'd like to see real leather doll shoes (I know there are some -- would like more) more shoes in different styles -- meaning adult looking, trendy, (there is a lot of punk stuff -- and don't get me wrong I love some of that, but some variety), Army/combat boots for females, doc martins in every patent leather -- love those heels, human hair wigs (again want more, styles, textures), tiny decals to change "nail polish", trendy underwear for girls (not the lacy lingerie stuff that is out there) -- Oh and if money were no object, an mp3 player like an ipod with your favorites loaded on that looks like a t.v. ! that's all I can think of for now.

more variety! Face sculpts, faceups (unibrows, no eyelashes, anything crazy), body types, and It would be wonderful to have a beautiful, streamlined body that pose like a dream..from what I've seen out there, most are just the usual type. Some companies tries to come up with cool things, but most fail XP Natural posing bodies, zombie posing bodies, mermaid bodies...possibilities should be endless!! this is the bjd world!!

when you first get into these waters, it feels like you're bomborded with all the different things in the hobbie. So much to learn and consider. There should always be new things here, to keep up the excitement.
AND a tiny with same realistic sculpt as a SD would be pretty sweet too.

 

Well, since my Sabik is now a Werewolf I can no longer say that, but cats!! Always more cats! I'd love to see Dollzone make a female SD counterpart to their Floy and Shoyo w/ cat ears and w/o human ears, and maybe a little brother for shoyo too?

 

I would love to see more weapons being made for BJD, as well as leather-based tooled armour. You can get such a neat realistic look out of it.... though this echoes what a few people have mentioned already lol XD I would also like to see more suit-jackets that I've seen around here or there. I think they really add this elegance and there's so little of it...

I'd like to see more reptile-dragon-things actually. The dragon thing is such a strong theme in different places, I'm surprised to see it not show up more often...wings and tails and small puki-like things, that is. Also: more realistic female figures, ala Dollstown.
