I'm having that problem with the Spiritdoll boy body I have. I got two of these bodies older, male and female a while back and while I love them they are 70 cm almost by the time you get a head on one and comparatively they just have HUGE feet. The girl is like 9 cm almost and the boy is 9.5-10 depending upon the type of shoe. It's not just the length it's the way the foot is made, the thickness of it. The girl is easier but the boy his feet are just really hard to put shoes on without spending a small fortune. I have one pair of unisex doll boots from a porcelain doll that just barely fit him but they are not in great shape. I'm thinking he's going to end up with felt long boots and I'm going to have to make them myself because $40 and up for a pair of boots is NOT in my budget and besides I'd have to go to China and I hate doing that. That's just WOW. I have never seen man boobs that big on a BJD. That's like pro weight lifter level man boobs!
I collect older sculpts, and I love it when someone gets their first old doll and starts asking if the flaws are normal, and the answers are all just "welcome to Delfs" or "welcome to Volks" because if you know, you know.
Unbelievable T&D, I knew you can scale down your moob body but isn't 1/4 scale too small? Doll Parts, Telesthesia - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections Spoiler: My life will be complete if there is a 60cm edition XD XD XD
unpopular opinion, sorry! : sometimes, rarely, there are dolls, especially animal ones, that in my opinion look similar to10usd kid toys but still sell for houndreds of usd
I mean, when they are made in completely different materials, different numbers made and marketed to a completely different demographic, the difference in prize is hardly surprising. Or do you mean that it's funny that adult collectors like the same aesthetics as children do?
What's with all the sculpts that are licking their lips? Are they trying to get at some spaghetti sauce? He's a little guy with a big heart...
I can't justify buying a 1/4 boy that I don't need just because I want the mini moob man, but if I could I would.
Tell T&D that you want a 60 cm version - they may make one. I don't need him. I don't collect that size. Am I buying one? You bet your bippy I am.
I'm thinking about that Granado dolls series of images that they have for their 15cm bodies, where they've got one of their big boys holding the little one. If they made a pocket size Moob Man then the big Moob Man could have his own Micro Moob Man
Welp. I would like to thank this thread for introducing me to the Mini Moob Man. I have a character I've been trying to shell in this size range for years and I needed him to be at least as tall as my Souldoll Vitos, which are 53cm including their heads. I was looking for something that fit my vision of "broad of chest, pure of heart, dumb of ass", and I think the Mini Moob Man would do that. Off to update my "To Buy" list now.
He looks pretty normal straight on, I mean really bulky for 1/4, but normal. Then her turns side ways, he has a chest that some people would pay for! I was not expecting that. He'd be pretty awesome if I was into moob men. Weird that they didn't make a 60cm version, but it looks like the 60cm range boys are becoming more rare. People either want the 70+ uncles - which I have a few, or the mature 1/4 boys. I guess that's why they did him in that size.
I love that description! And YES FINALLY MOOBS IN A CONVENIENT TRAVEL SIZE. .........look, I have a blacksmith character that needs shelling okay. Now I'm curious what it would look like with a bigger head.
He's getting his own MMM (Mini Moob Man): Telesthesia & Dragon Lacy This is the Spy Ah Fu outfit, by the way.
