1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    3. So weird thing to be annoyed at, but I am annoyed at not knowing I was participating in an event. Can't companies send you an email? And we freaking asked for an invoice for this order and Luts never sent us one just an order confirmation number! Which we already had, so we gave up and just hoped our order was right. It is a good company what could go wrong?

I got two Summer Luts event heads unexpectedly. Didn't know how events worked, just wanted to order a doll. Then surprise two blank heads. I don't mind the sculpt, but don't love it either. No face makes it hard for me to connect with them. The idea of having to buy two bodies and ship the heads away for face up.(Face up is not a skill I possess or want to dabble in) IDK it adds a weird extra price tag to them, that makes me more annoyed at them. We have other plans for half a dozen dolls each. My husband and I thought well maybe we can just sell the heads? Use the money for dolls we really want. He has them up on the market place and a local Facebook group, for a good price. But no one seems interested, so I just wonder will these heads be with us forever? Am I being mean to these free heads? Should we eventually just get them bodies once we get done with our own lists? Would twin dolls be so bad? Is this another slippery slope to having 20+ dolls in our home? Which I know isn't bad for some people, but we have a plan for a cool doll room. If we get too many that plan will get more complicated and bigger then it already is! Also should I be grateful for having two free limit release heads? Because I do feel bad complaining when I am sure there are people out there who will love these little heads. Ugh...doll struggles.

    4. Or you can just, you know, sell them since you don't like them anyways?

    5. When companies don't show a blank head in a listing :x like I wanna do my own faceups I need to see if the blank head is gonna be right for my character!!!!

    6. @Khell The goal is to try and sell them, but they haven't had a nibble. So that has added to the frustration. I don't know how long stuff normally takes to sell on the market place and we already have them posted on our local Facebook group too. So just another waiting game in the hobby. The other night I just got really annoyed at the heads for existing. So I was ranting about having to deal with them.

    7. @ZucciniVeggie - If you're that annoyed................. you could give them away? Like I'm sorry but it seems really strange to me to get so aggravated about a free gift? Anyway good luck with that?

You could also try ebay. Stuff gets snapped up rly fast on there.

    8. Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry if it was a weird rant.

    9. People always having to 'apologize' when post a 'poorly' taken photo. If it's truly that bad, why post it?

    10. Cos you're just so friggin' happy with your new doll you want to shout it from the rooftops and immediately want to show her off to everyone? ;)

    11. @Khell - that's why I post my bad photos lmao. That and because sometimes my DSLR doesn't cooperate for my box openings and it's too late to go retake all those photos so it's like OH WELL.

My current gripe is where are all the good second hand eyes??? Used to be I'd be able to mosey into the MP and find the perfect eyes for a new doll so easily. Now I have to actually go buy eyes directly from Enchanted and pay the shipping.

    12. I'm joining the whining about not being able to buy heads separately. Of course, companies have every right to do so, but I still wish I could buy a head and not have to spend $700 on a body as well. He's going to be a hybrid anyway, because his height will be a few centimetres out compared to another character...

Also, the lack of body fat on make dolls. I don't mean having fat sculpts or anything, but merely sculpts where not all the muscles are so defined. A lot of people, even athletes, have a degree of subcutaneous fat covering the muscles which smooths everything out a bit. Most dolls available seem to have every ripple of muscle visible. I'm not a fan of the six pack look, but I end up picking those over the hyper thin bodies.

    13. For me, right now...EMS shipping and New York City customs. I have an order from Legend Doll that shipped on October 27th, dropped off the radar until November 16th, and has been stuck in customs since. I put in and received another order from Clover Singing in the time I've wait for this one to arrive. Just clear New York already!:vein

    14. Sites that show pics of their dolls wearing a costume that almost totally covers the doll, and then not showing a nude pic of the doll. I want to know what I'm spending 100s of dollars on before I order. Also pics of dolls where they are "artistically" posed in such a way that I can't see all of their face. One company photographs all their dolls looking down. I can't tell what their face looks like. I wish they would include at least one straight-on view.

The current trend for very tall dolls. I don't have room to display dolls taller than 65cm (I prefer 62cm), but I want mature looking doll sculpts. It is getting nearly impossible to find mature looking 1/3 dolls in the 62 to 65cm range.

    15. All guy dolls have abs, all of them. Especially bothers me when you can see the doll's ribs and he still has ripped abs.
Why is it so hard to have a male doll that doesn't have a sculpted perfect six pack? I just want a non-ripped doll that doesn't look like a child pls

    16. Just what I was saying... I'm sure there's a market for this!

    17. Same here! I've had a package stuck in ISC NY for 8 days now, and other international packages that shipped after it have already arrived to me. Ugh, it's so frustrating. :frownyblush:

I called my local post office and they said there's nothing that can be done while it's in the hands of customs. If my package doesn't move soon then I think I might file a missing mail search. Hopefully both of our packages move ASAP! :eusa_pray

    18. 1. Ridiculously high custom charges + fees.
      2. Waiting times longer than 4 months.
      3. Poor presentation of dolls - e.g. not showing blank sculpt, lack of photos, photos not showing the face and body properly.
      4. Companies that don't allow customers to buy only head. I mean...why?!!!
      5. Lack of money. :XD:

    19. Counterintuitively, it's more effective to email than to call when dealing with USPS. Emails actually get routed to people who can do something (local officials can't, and the 800 number goes to a call center).

My complaint today is people who don't read the rules before posting. I hate getting curious about new replies on news posts, and it's someone just spamming it up with "oh pretty doll !"

    20. I've found maybe two of these. Guess which two bodies I am getting for my boys?

Also, I wish more companies color matched. And that there were more 58 cm guys. And that there were more mature, not super curvy female bodies.
