1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Things that are hard to find that you would like to see more of

Mar 24, 2010

    1. glasses, musical instruments, HEADPHONES, cellphones.
      accessories in general.
but mostly good looking headphones >.< the few ones I was able to find and that I still available were cheap looking

    2. More shops in my country to buy from,
      furniture for *all* sizes,
      more anthros

    3. I'd like to see male dolls that didn't look like girls, Edward Cullen, and the guys on the covers of romance novels. I can't find a serious looking male anywhere. Iplehouse comes closest, but its dolls STILL look like underwear models. I just want a guy who looks more natural, maybe a little older. Think George Clooney, an Sean Connery, or Harrison Ford. I love craggy faces that have a little personality...

It's mostly the shapes of the faces that annoy me. The tiny girly chins and giant anime eyes, aghhhhh

Also, I'd like more variety in faces, both in expressions and in build. It's amazing to me that you can go to twenty different BJD stores located in different places across the world and they all look the friggin' same!

    4. Ummm.. Well, the first thing that comes to mind is small dolls with adult proportions. I'd really like a doll MSD sized or smaller that looked like an adult, but from what I can tell, not many companies sell them.

If we're talking about objects and props, I'd love to see more good quality musical instruments, especially in the American dealers. I know a few companies like Crobidoll sell some nice ones, but I'd prefer not to have to ship it overseas... Oooh, and doll-sized headphones!

And also, I'd like to see more companies and dealers stocking single items. It's kind of frustrating if you just want a shirt, or a pair of pants, but all they have are complete outfits.

(I apologize if I've mis-stated any facts; I have a bad habit of saying stuff without bothering to check and make sure I'm right. :sweat )

    5. You didn't specify size, but I know that Dollmore does carry a bathrobe for either their SD's or MSD's (or both). It's also white.

Maybe more 50's, 60', 70's style clothes. I see a lot of Victorian outfits, a lot of modern, and even some futuristic, but not too much in between.

    6. shoes really fit my dolls feet...my tiny got 3.5cm feet but shoes on shop always just got 4.5cm,and good shoes also the hardest garments to make compare to clothes or sth else...

    7. A good stethoscope.

    8. Suitcases. I've been looking everywhere for a proper, old style, suitcase for my MSD girl, but either they're too big, too small, fake looking and pink made of plastic, or they're not able to open.

I also wish there could be more bracelets for MSDs out there.

    9. I don't think there is anywhere that sells it, but I want a kitchen and bathroom set for 60cm dolls. I've seen tables, chairs, and beds, but I want to make other types of rooms in the home too. I've seen kitchen sets made out of wood, but they look silly next to such realistic dolls. I'd love to see metal sinks and ovens, maybe a good quality plastic fridge, and a counter top made out of nice plastic too. I've seen mini pots, pans, and other dishes that would be so fun to use in a Dollfie-sized kitchen! XD I've seen bath tubs made of some kind of stone or clay that would be nice if there were metal faucets and a nice vanity with porcelain/ceramic sink. I love looking at miniture dollhouses, and wish I could enlarge them for my dolls. Also, Dollfie-sized light fixtures would be cool too. ;D If you had a room or house for your bjds that had a hinged wall that could close and open with windows and a light that worked, you could peek in through the window at night and spy on them! >:3

    10. I'm looking for a 70cm size but I'm interested in seeing SD or MSD sizes too! A-are they still on Dollmore's site? I can't find them. Dx

    11. That's weird; I'm having trouble finding it myself. I wonder if they discontinued it?

    12. OTL Oh I see. Thanks for trying to help anyway! :)

    13. I would like to see more furniture for dolls. Not just chairs...Tables, TV's, coffee machines etc. For size 40cm~70cm. I would love to make a huge dollhouse for my dolls.
It would be great if these kind of things would be available because i lack expertise on that category. :sweat

    14. The first things to come to mind are what I can only describe as "normal weird" Japanese clothes - Sukajan, jikatabi, nikka-pokka (and all the other tobishokunin-related gear) - Stuff that, whilst not fashionable, has a certain cultural cachet.

    15. I'm a sucker for miniatures, so I want in scale props for my Minifee. All kind of props but not props that look like they came out of the Barbie aisle of a toy store. I want props that look like the real thing, oh and from all eras not just modern day. (yeah I know I'm demanding)

    16. I
ve been trying to find an Iplehouse BID Elin and having a hard time. I've never ordered from Iplehouse and was kind of scared to order .

    17. cute BOY yo-sd clothes. I find tons of cute dresses and other stuff, but when i find boy clothes they just dont fit my boys character.

    18. They're not that hard to make, if you want to try for yourself. I sculpted a gas mask from paperclay for one of my boys because yeah, they're impossible to find.

Speaking of such things, I would love to see more cybergoth and raver things that aren't expensive. I've made a gas mask and respirator, but I'd love to see well-made resin cast ones from a company, as well as goggles or monocles with changeable lenses. Also, fluffies and furry wristwarmers that I don't have to make myself. T.T (Sewing fur=major PITA)

    19. More Ponytail wigs.

Twintails are very common but I rarely see ponytail wigs.
