1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Things that are hard to find that you would like to see more of

Mar 24, 2010

    1. Just had to pull these and say YES, YES, A THOUSAND TIMES YES.

Saving for a character from the sixties (but her wardrobe would be somewhat behind-the-times for the most part), and man would I love to find some good accurate period things. Come to think of it, accurate period things for when she was younger and for as she gets older.

And my burning need for manly man wigs.

    2. SD-armour of different styles. Medieval SD-clothes for men, non-glamour, but 'casual'-style, without gold and ribbons, accessories for them. The men' wigs with historic hair-style (powdered wig, for example), modern men's hair-cuts.
And jewelry, of course. I dream about crowns, tiaras etcetera for kings (for older men, not for young princes). And more rings, please!

    3. Tiny boy clothes for my 16cm. Wading through all the girl outfits depresses me. Especially since the boy stuff is sooo very limited.

    4. I'd like to find more accessories SD or MSD size like pens, books etc...And shoes that fit the JID girl and that aren't lolita style but more modern.

    5. I really want larger, more exotic instruments for SD dolls, like sitars or samisens. I especially want to find pointe feet and shoes that will fit a 70 cm doll...

    6. High heel pumps for MSD dolls! I haven't seen any yet.

    7. Instruments for YoSD sized dolls. My girl wants to play the violin, and the closest thing I've found that works is a plastic Barbie violin. It's cheap enough, but I dunno if she wants it. I'm ready pay fairly for a good miniature violin, but I can't find one.

    8. more male pink wigs. ive been searching through sites everywhere for a SD sized light pink stylish wig that would suit an effeminate male but THEY ARE SOOOO HARD TO FIND!!!

    9. Like a few people have said, more retro clothing. Especially mod era and gaudy 1970s (orange, so much orange) - the latter's ten a penny for fashion dolls, but you just can't seem to get it for BJDs.

    10. oh! darker skin tones than tanned. ive been searching around and only found one place that does it and the darkest one is sooooo pretty but the models are too realistic for my liking

    11. More male outfits.
Seriously, I'm drowning in dresses trying to find my guys something to wear. ;)

The lack of male clothing makes it difficult having male dolls.
I can pretty easily find Msd, Tiny, and even Soom sized dresses for fairly inexpensive, but if a company puts out a guy's fullset outfit I almost always expect the price to start at $100 and hold that value. :/

    12. Yosd sized props, they're hard to find, but not as hard as 1/6th scale furniture that isn't pink plastic

    13. They have the tiny 1/6 th scale instruments in cases at many music shops and gift shops, they could have one.

    14. Check ebay for them too. I got my girl's electric and acoustic guitars, and even a viola for my future boy there. Just do a search for "miniature instruments."

      Ryu

    15. I wanna find an SD sized samovar and a hookah. I don't even know where to start looking. ;___;

    16. In my case, I'm having a really hard time finding someone who makes long Angora mohair wigs (not Tibetan lambskin). So far, I only know 2 wig makers who do make them. Plus their waiting list is about 5 months. I'm not a fan of synthetic fibers so I would really like to see more people making angora mohair wigs.

    17. You have to be lucky, I guess-- my aunt found an MSD-sized hookah at a Goodwill that only needs a little repair (it's lacking the 'pipe' part hooked into the main body of the thing), when I'd been looking for one. Which I guess would work for an SD doll if it was to be a small, personal-sized one as opposed to one you'd share.

Sometimes you can find odd little things like that at renfaires, which... might have been where mine originally came from, actually. I've found some great miniatures at faires before.

    18. I would love to find more non-sword bladed weapons, such as scythes, sickles, glaives, etc. Trying desperately to find an awesome looking scythe/sickle for my villain character. There is a scythe for a Dollfie Dream, but apparently it's pretty rare to get a hold of, there's one on ebay that is passable, but then there is a *beautiful* one coming out by Ringdoll (but you have to order 650+ to even get the chance to order one...). >___<

    19. more cute clothes for males. by cute i mean sailor outfits, bunnies and bear suits, pajamas, kigurumis. i know there are some but i wish there was just a wider range. also, a throne.. my doll needs a throne because he's a prince. :( and more elegant, feminine clothing for males.

    20. Everything for MSd sized stuff!
Even the shoes, outfit or wigs. My MSD dolls. Both is the less stuff in my doll family.

And the difficult thing is wig for dollshe 70cm doll.
My Bernard cannot use the large doll wig but MSd sized wig is short for him.
Difficult to find a suitable one for him too.
