1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Things that are hard to find that you would like to see more of

Mar 24, 2010

    1. Oh jeez, where do I start?

      - Clothes made for Pipos Cheshires and their big butts. I've never had much luck finding something that will actually fit them besides pipos clothes themselves. Bratz boys tops will fit with some modifications to the sleeves, but there's only so much you can do with those.
      - Pleasantly shaped top hats. Not steampunk. I have a hour glass shaped top hat and ever since I've never been able to look at any other kind. Though, I haven't really done a thorough search for them. I just try to keep my eyes open when I'm browsing.
      - Shoes that will fit my Dollshe Saint, with his big ol' feet. I've got one pair but they're a little more goth than I really wanted. I just had to make due because they were the only boots I could find that came close.

I know there's more, I just can't think of anything else off the top of my head at the moment.

    2. MSD hats!
I had a cute fedora I bought from luts, but it got lost at a meet...
Since then I have been trying to find another, and ugh,... no luck at all.

    3. >< How about some cheap shoes? I'm talking below ten here!

    4. I want vehicles!

Specifically, a 1:4 scale green kawasaki ninja. It doesn't have to have spinning wheels. or a turning steering column. It just needs to look like the bike and be the right size for my boy to plant his butt on!

Furniture. Made from wood. That I WONT have to sell an organ on the black market for.

MSD girl clothes, that don't feature ridiculous amounts of lace/ fluff/ PINK *shudders* / or horribly over the top patterned fabric.

And this might sound odd, but i want stockings. There are heaps of white/black lace/mesh ones out there, or ridiculously bright patterned ones and such, but i just want some pretty pastel coloured ones. Like white or off white, with some little blue flowers or something.

And finally, in scale fabric prints. Spoonflower is pretty good, but i find myself frequenting quilting fabric sections and stores because it seems they are the only places I can find small print fabrics.

    5. Someone was asking about in scale cats for sd sized dolls. I found two gorgeously realistic little resin kittens at Hobby Lobby for about $3 each, though I had to repaint them to make them more truly realistic. They were about 3 1/2" long. They sneak into most of my doll photos. They do look like kittens though, not full grown cats. So I bought a bit of Sculpey and sculpted them a bigger Mama cat.
Really, that is pretty much my solution, if you REALLY want something for your doll: get some fabric or art supplies and make it. I have a couple of dozen hand sewn costumes, I made three necklaces for them over Christmas break, I make their wigs, I am working on some shoe patterns. I can not find furniture I like ( Ancient Egyptian , and Medieval but mostly Shaker) so I am just going to have to make that too.

    6. I need to make a realistic poseable 1/3 scale lamb and a few sheep for my Kevya.

I also desperately wish there were horses available for $300 or under that would be the right scale for SD17 -EID sized dolls. My Twinn horses look a bit small under any doll over 60cm...

    7. More 1:3 size props and furniture. There's tons in 1:12 & 1:6
More lounge wear for guys. Nice pajamas's (mature tailored type stuff), robes, slippers, smoking jackets
More exercise/fitness gear. Running, cyclist, ski, workout wear
More period clothing 1920's - 1970's for girls. 1950 - 1970 for guys. General Edwardian wear.
More modern boy short wigs, curl hair wigs
More underwear for boys , funky socks
      More funky dress type shoes
      Historical armour

And in general more mature fashion forward, colourful type stuff. I have 1/3 boys if you can't tell...haha

    8. More slim MSD boys stuff! I cannot stress this enough!

    9. Wigs for msd, I always find these Sd exclusive wigs and it drives me insane!

    10. Halloween eyes. There are lots of cool and odd eyes out there, but I mean HALLOWEEN eyes! :D Also, furniture would definitely nice, and I agree with an above poster on the appropriately sized prints on fabric. Cars would be amazing, though the pricetag would be murder. I sure would love a hearse for one of my dolls....:)

    11. - I have to agree on the furnitures. They are always too pricey or too small ;_;
      - Also, need more mature clothes for MSD. Garterbelts! High heels!
      - And even though I don't own a boy bjd, I can see there is too much feminine clothes compared to manly clothes.
      - more variety of colors for clothes. Have you ever seen a great design, but the colors were puke. Yep.
      - Oh oh! And carrot colored wigs! Leeke should use the color for basic wigs or something.

    12. I'd have to agree with wanting quality scale furniture, especially if it was available locally / didn't have to order internationally due to weight / cost of shipping. There is some teddy bear furniture around that works reasonably well for scale but is often made with fairly garish "upholstery" fabric and doesn't really stand up to my dreams of quality neo-classical, baroque, & recency pieces.

    13. Steampunk-style goggles that don't have to be purchased in a clothing set. :|

    14. Mint colored wigs and more interesting/unique faceups on Trinity Dolls. I kow Trinity Jude has a ton of possibilities but I haven't seen anybody really explore them.

    15. I would like some wigs that actually looks like real haircuts. i'm so tired of my males either having long curls or bubble-cut wigs. I want them to look human with stylish haircuts.

    16. Those triangular checker-patterned scarve things.

They used to be everywhere, but now that I need one I can't seem to find them anywhere and it's really frustrating.

Additionally, backpacks and bags for dolls. You'd think that they'd be all over the place, but they're actually pretty scarce and when I do come across anyone selling them they're either quite expensive or long sold out.

    17. I dreamed of a realistic eye for minimee.
That is the iris diameter of 3-4 mm
      These do not buy anywhere!
In the end, I learned to do such eyes alone\myself ))

      for example:

here is my make-up+my eyes :diameter of 15 mm and 3.5 mm iris

    18. I agree with the notion of slim mini boy clothes! And slim mini boy shoes @_@ And suits/tuxedos for MSDs. I'd also like some more "in-between" sized dolls between MSD and YOSD, like the Chibi Unoas and Iplehouse KIDs are.

... And also more (available) options of sealants.

    19. tiny clothes for boys
oval shaped eyes with smaller irises for narrow-eyed SD sculpts

    20. Its hard for me to find furniture for my Msd boy and to find mini bears and rabbits, but also I really want to see more lace and frill clothing for the Msd boys, for ex: Black Butler Ciel type clothing
