1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Things that are hard to find that you would like to see more of

Mar 24, 2010

    1. Steampunk clothes in bright colors There is more to it than gears and brown.
Belts that are more plain to add on to.
Msd sized tools that aren't plastic
      Classic scifi books for msd
      fountain pins
      tiny poutches

    2. I'd love good green eyes, antique-looking books, and DD Sister torso frames to be more available!

    3. I've been having trouble finding fantasy clothes for fairies and elves and the like. I normally find everyday clothes and lolita dresses. I also think there is a wide variety of clothing for SDs, an ok variety for MSDs and very little for tinies.

    4. Definitely affordable furniture for all sizes. Also, some wigs with the ombre look or some of the more cute styles without bangs. Boy wigs please! Maybe one that looks like Elvis' big hair too... not just fur wigs that look a bit too punky for me. Affordable shoes for MSD especially. Queen medieval clothing that has a vintage look to it and details like belts and crowns or head pieces. The list goes on and on...

    5. I am having a war with myself at the moment. I know SD shoes cost a very small amount to make (like a few dollars), I have seen those shoes wholesale for around $7 and retail for $30+ and THEN they add over $20 for postage. In my view, this is not justifiable in today's economy. What to do? And yes, I have ordered although I made it clear that I objected to the price of postage for feather weight shoes costing $22 to post. What have we come to?

    6. PandaBerryInSpace: Perhaps you could write the Crocs co and suggest they make them and use them as advertising materials. It would be cute to have a pair of mini Crocs.

    7. I would love mini-crocs as well! I have found mini crocs on key chains but you can't get a left and right foot.

    8. Did I just say mini-crocs on key chains? That might be as bad as fuzzy dice for your car...

    9. ... Or make your own out of paperclay. That material those Crocs are made from, I swear it looks like paperclay anyway. They already look like toy shoes, so you're halfway there! xD

    10. SD shoes have a low MATERIAL cost to make, but What you are paying for is the painstaking time of a skilled crafter to produce results fine enough to sell, and then a teeny bit off the top so they can profit and do not go broke. Try making some shoes yourself and find out what it takes to do so- You might decide you'd rather pay a professional for quality goods, or you might find a new joy in making things yourself.

There are a lot of things I'd like to see more of, but mostly I end up making them myself.

Daily life props for more sizes, for instance. I don't need a swirly fantasy sword, I need an MSD sized coffee maker.

    11. I agree with Rosslyn. I want more realistic (not fantasy) props! And I want some furniture that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I get it takes a lot of work, but hey, I can dream until I get enough space to do woodwork!

    12. For me it would have to be a simple, black waistcoat. The most simple thing but I can't find one that's garaunteed to fit my JID.

    13. Regarding furniture, I found a SD sized chest of drawers at (take a guess) Ikea today. The thing's called "Moppe" (that made me laugh out loud because in some parts of Germany "Mopped" is a colloquial term meaning something like "thingy") and it comes in several sizes. I got the largest, hoping to fit all the girls' clothes in there ... whether or not that works out remains to be seen. :sweat

    14. More patterns for mini boys, especially suits!

    15. Natural colored wigs. I have an SD girl that I can't find a suitable auburn wig for! I found maybe one that I liked. I see plenty of fantasy colors, but is it really that hard to find a shoulder length, reddish-brown wig with simple bangs? It's so frustrating!

    16. Korean fashion clothes like the ones that are in trend now for dolls ><
and also more very artsy clothes, like ones at doll chateau, like Mona's that is for sale!
If anyone knows where to find them, please ><

    17. Army outfits, leather gloves and warrior armor.. For girls! To be honest, I'm really sick of all the frilly lolita-dresses, I want my girls to be badass:XD:

    18. 1/6 boy clothes and SD girl clothes for larger busts. I only have one actual outfit for my SD girl and my 1/6 boy, and that's mainly because I can't find good priced clothing in their size. I had Titania's clothes custom made because of her large bust and I got Altair's clothes off of MOC, one of the few outfits not geared towards girls. It's not event a complete outfit for both of them. Titania doesn't have shoes and Altair doesn't have pants or shoes, he's wearing black underwear which I think looks like a diaper, which is fine for now cause he's supposed to be a toddler, but still...
