1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Things that are hard to find that you would like to see more of

Mar 24, 2010

    1. Girl shoes that fit Kid Delf feet and cost less than $20. I never wanted to make shoes, but I'm tired of her only being able to wear boy shoes!

      • SD-sized horses with joints and poseability. I would pay a bajillion dollars, you have no idea. Maybe even different breeds--little ponies, big draft horses, Arabians and Thoroughbreds and Andalusians. And, guys. Tack for them. Historical and ethnic and modern tack.
      • More pets! (I adore Camellia Dynasty's, but I'd love more.) Dobermans. Kittens. Falcons. Parrots. Give me little poseable pets.
      • Short mens' wigs that look like real, natural-colored hair. Like maybe brown, the most underrated hair color ever. (I thought this would be easier to find, but NO.)
      • A wider variety of weapons and armor, especially realistic, historical ones. It's shockingly hard to find a bow.
      • Ethnic and historical clothing (AND BOTH--medieval Korea, the Moghul empire, the Aztec Empire, ANCIENT SUMERIA--hnnng)

And I want all of these badly enough to try my hand at making them.

    2. Regular glasses for MSD. I have been looking for some for forever now for my boy. I haven't been able to find any so far; but you never know I suppose...

    3. Furniture for my 24" plus dolls. This includes Doll house appliances to go with the 'to scale' doll house I plan on building.

    4. Combed back hair like Gordon Gekko's (from the movie, Wall Street) that looks good and isn't fur or mohair.

    5. Cute clothing for tinies below Yo-SD Size, affordable mermaid dolls, fantasy parts for more diverse types of animals/creatures.

    6. Anthros that aren't cats. Lol I know that's some sort of blasphemy, but I'm not a cat person at all. I'd like to see some birds, especially in the SD size, beaks and sculpted feathers and all! I'd also like to see girl clothes that are goth/punk etc without being foofy dresses and such. My poor girl ends up in boy clothes that don't fit her shapely body. Tee shirts with screen prints like I wear, with super heroes and such on them. EID shoes XD please!!

    7. Basic clothes, just really plain without a theme. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Also red wigs (not like carrot colored, but actual red). You'd think it'd be easy to find one in a 6-7 that doesn't charge over $40 for shipping but I can't seem to. :? Maybe I'm just cheap. x3 Plain looking military clothing, not all decorated or gothic looking. More olive colored tan resin would be cool too, most tans are a little too orange, but I guess that'd be difficult.

    8. More affordable male wigs that don't look like girl ones.

    9. I'll jump in here and say I'd love more clothing for tinies. Baby clohtes! And not just the yosd sized ones, but the really tiny ones :3

More "casual" underwear for girls. Hotpants, sportsbras etc. Sweatpants for girls that looks good. More "boyfriend-fit" jeans for girls etc. More clothing for the casual girl that is still feminine and doesn't dress like a guy, more or less :P

    10. For sure, more in-scale (1/3 for me) doll furniture\appliances\everyday props (like cooking supplies, TVs, tissue boxes, stuff you'd find around the house) I'm planning on building a lot of that kind of stuff myself for the various roomboxes I have planned, but there are certain characters who will have more antique-looking furniture, all carved and whatnot, and I just can't do that! ALSO 1/3 SCALE GRANDFATHER CLOCK PLZ.

    11. I would like to see more accessories made specifically for 1/3 bjds such as wheelchairs or crutches. As an amputee myself and someone who had plans to make their doll an amputee too, would be nice if a company specifically made crutches and stuff that didnt look out of proportion on the large bjds.

    12. I for one LOVE props violins pipes breafcases micraphones chairs tables deks of cards! I love them all then again I love to collect junk myself, so that's not surprising. This is why i fear makking a dollorama becuse 1 I have no room lol. and 2. I have so much stuf already i got my first doll and I realized I alreddy had a toy box full of littel stuffed BJD sized toys. I'd love a violin however, or a moc skull I know thar's on that's a BJD head but I find it looks too cartoony for me so I'd prefer an uber realistic type one.

      Also BJD food OMG NOM!

    13. I really don't know. Of course I am always happy if I see stuff and think "that could be useful for one of my BJDs". But if they a prop (e.g. Loki will need his staff, no matter what), I fiddle out ways and methods to make the stuff myself. This may take a bit of time, but usually then it also looks much better than bought stuff. Although I sometimes wish you could go into a store and buy simple clothes such as t-shirts and jeans the same way as this is available for vinyl Play dolls.

    14. I wish there were more SD sized furniture.

    15. Goggles and flippers!! :fangirl:

    16. Oooh, oooh, this! It's so hard to find quality stuff at an affordable price. I'm actually surprised more companies haven't jumped at this, because it's more or less an untapped section of the market right now.

    17. BJD steampunk stuff! More then just little pendants and hats. I'm talking full out corsets and stuff.

    18. I agree more SD sized furniture. Especially chairs and couches :)

    19. I'd like to see more clothing sold as separates and accessories sold outside of sets -- this is especially true for my two steampunk dolls. I've seen beautiful steampunk outfits for sale, but they don't always suit my dolls (they are often too high class looking for their characters). It's easier to put their outfits together from separate pieces to get the look I want. However, a lot of the really neat accessory items tend to be sold as parts of larger sets.
