Things that are hard to find that you would like to see more of

Minstrel Painting had a preorder recently (through BJDivas) for a Doberman in 1/3 size. I can't tell you how well they work proportion wise, as I haven't gotten mine yet. But they do exist, they're just hard to find!

 

- Unfortunately they don't show the whole dog but the muzzle sculpting is impressive. And of course it has to be out of stock XD

 

I would love better pet options for dolls too! I'm obsessed with the corgi ig/princess_bjdoll has. It's looks so nice even if it's not articulated.

 

The whole thing is really pretty looking (at least in pictures, so far lol). I fell in love with the mouth open/grinning head, so I'm really excited to see her when she comes in. I know they were really popular, and the preorder period got extended because of it (but yes, sadly it's over). I'm hoping that gives them incentive to do another preorder at some point xD

Funny enough, I was unboxing my entire bjd wardrobe to let it air out and potentially wash things. Found some stuff I assumed I got rid of when I sold the intended doll. The elastic is shot and the glue holding the lenses in place has seen better days but they didn't disintegrate like all the pvc pieces did

Found a lot of other things I wish I could find similar quality or styles.

 

I would love a more mature (not childlike) female sculpt that is grinning wide with semi-closed eyes. The only one that fits the bill is AoD Hui Xiang but I'd like a longer face with different proportions.

 

I would like to find more things like skates, not for minifee or small SD feet, but big ones. More cyberpunk stuff, like robotic arms or parts... And the casual clothes thing... Totally agree, it's hard to find and the ones you can find, are of bad quality and expensive.

 

I would like more fashion variety. I am looking for clothes for my dolls and so much of the options are mostly modern wear, shiny leather outfits, or poofy Victorian classical outfits or lolita style. It seems very hard to find Mori-kei or boho style clothing. Especially for 1/4 and 1/6 sized. 1/3 and bigger have the variety but so far I like the smaller dolls.

 

Mori-kei style clothing for dolls including accessories and shoes. Some years ago companies made items for this aesthetic but now it's almost impossible to locate any items except for used. And it was my favorite aesthetic. I also don't see enough 9-10 heat resistant wigs or 20mm urethane eyes from companies. Not saying it's impossible but it seems like they cap out at 8-9 or 18mm a lot of times which is reasonable because most dolls don't use those larger sizes.
