  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     5. 1. Never wanted to have more than two: I now have five and two artist dolls
      2. I will never own anthro dolls: I now have two, a fox and a kitty
      3. I will never own anything smaller than a YoSD: I now have a Pukifee Luna and a tan Pukifee Dony on the way
      4. I'll never spend more than $200 on a doll: Heh... yeah... Let's just say my Soom Keny wasn't exactly $200 :sweat
      5. I won't buy anymore, I can only trade for a new doll: Oops, Fairyland was having an event and I could get a Pukifee in tan? Guess I'll sell off one of my girls when I get home. Can't wait after all :lol:

      Yeah, I've definitely broken my own rules plenty of times. I really do want to stop getting dolls though and sell off my two YoSD girls. I've decided my girls will be Pukifees and I've got my two Soom boys. I dunno, I don't like having an uneven number of dolls, I feel like someone is being left out :/

    6. Everything said here makes lots of sense to me...lol. In fact, I have told myself most of these; I will not start bjds period...stick with vinyl....ROFL!! No Fantasy..hahaha....no tinies...now I have 5! No art dolls...one on layaway...etc, etc. I give up...They win!!! :)

      "I won't have floating heads." Yeah. Right.

      "I probably won't get into YOSDs." Three YOSDs later...

      "I'll only buy one doll a year." Ha. Hahaha.

    8. I said I wouldn't ever buy a girl doll. I have no idea why I said that but I already preordered a lovely girl and I can't wait to get her.

      I said I would only stick to SDs. broke that one already with my preordered msd girl doll.

      I said that I wouldn't ever consider getting childlike dolls. I have a very childish looking, but lovely doll on my wishlist and can't wait to save up enough money to get him.

    9. I've given up with saying I will or won't do anything when it comes to the BJD hobby as I know for a fact that I'll set myself a rule and then instantly break it. I am in the process of saving for a doll I said I couldn't buy (despite falling in love the moment I saw them) as she wouldn't be easy to clothe, but now she's all I can think about!

    10. Things I said I wouldn't do but did:

      1. Small dolls like pukipukis are not cute or worth the price...now I have 2 puki pukis and I'm so head over heels for them!!! they are worth the price and so cute!!
      2. I will never like girl dolls....now I'm super excited for the MSD girl I'm waiting for!!! and one of my puki pukis is a girl and I adore her to death!! girl dolls are cute, fun and very interesting.
      3. I will never be able to do face ups...now I do the face ups for all my dolls and blushing, customization etc
      4. I will never buy SD dolls....now I have 3 SDs XD
      5. I will never get hybrids or floating heads...all my SDs and MSDs are hybrids and I have 4 floating heads at home...^^;

      Never say never!!

      Things I still say I won't do and I still haven't done...but who knows what the future might bring?:

      1. No fantasy dolls
      2. No fantasy skin colors
      3. No anthros or BJD pets

    17. Buy a girl doll. I swore up and down that I wouldn't get a girl, but I saw my Carina and knew I had to have her. The other thing I said I'd never do was have more than one. Here I am with 3 dolls and two floating heads.

    18. I won't buy more than 2-3 dolls.
      My newbie statement, famous last words among hobbyists. I actually made good on this for around 6 years, and maintained a 3 doll group. Then my 4th boy came as a birthday gift to myself after so long, and it all went downhill from there. B') now I am at lucky 13 and telling myself I am done again. I intend to be done for a while, but I know I likely won't be done forever.

      I won't buy a yo-sd or smaller.
      Since I don't care much for children or overly child-like yos. Then my MW junior happened, and I reasoned "because he doesn't look too young!". Then my Crobi t-line happened, and I just gave up because he is adorable.

      I won't ever buy a floating head.
      Didn't want to bother with hybrids, and I just don't like the idea of floating parts. Then K-doll ruined my plans 2fold by not only releasing a head I could not resist, but doing it right after I told myself my dollfamily was finally complete B(. gdi.

    19. when I started I didn't want dolls from only one company. Now I only seem to love the dolls from one company and anything except dolls from them seems to want to move on. :/

    20. so far I haven't had any real "I will never"'s... I did say I couldn't imagine why i'd ever have floating head... uh ya...
      I got my mitts on SoulDoll's Chiron centaur with 'fantasy' head... so while I was paying him off on LA I saw the 'human head' on the MP... I convinced myself having the fantasy AND human version didn't count ;)

      But then.... omg! an Iplehouse blank head only of the sculpt I want! :o ... I could NOT pass this up (150 vs 600 dollars in one lump no way I'd miss that)... besides... bodies for IH are not too hard to find when I need it.... oops :doh I guess that make one "OFFICIAL" floating head (remember the first one didn't count lol).

      I learned fast though... no more "i'll never"... cuz this hobby looooooves to make you a liar! lol
