1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

To girls that owns boys... do you feel... shy? O.o'

Jul 2, 2011

    1. Definitely a no on my side. I have only one male human doll (the other ones are anthros, a bat and a dog) and he is very good looking in my opinion. When I have to change his clothing I don't feel any different than when I changed my dolls clothes when I was a child. I care very much about them and their personalities, but in the end they are just resin.

    2. A little bit shy for me, I make sure everyone has underwear so that isn't so much of a problem haha. But to me it feels like they understand that I'm here to take care of them, and they won't be able to clothe themselves so someone's gotta do it.

The only awkward subject is, my husband is okay with my dolls, the only rule is that they must not be headless! It disturbs him lol.

    3. I felt more embarrassed about getting girl dolls and dressing them up when I was deciding on my first BJD Thus why I got one with an androgynous look and planned for him to be able to dress both ways. I don’t know why that feeling when I was a Barbie hoarder in my childhood days. (I’ve gotten over it though ; I really want a proper girl sculpt now!)

    4. I don't think I am terribly shy about changing them. I don't leave them sitting around naked, and if they have to be clothe-less while I am trying to fit them for something that I am sewing them, I tend to drape material across them. I drape my girls too while fitting them for clothes. I do lay the outfits out for them before undressing them to change clothes.

I think it's more so my family doesn't walk in and see anatomically correct parts blowing in the breeze all across my room.
