Toys for tinies

Apr 4, 2010

    1. I love the knitted penguin!!! Great work!!!

    2. Love all of the new tinies!! So unbelievably well--Tiny! LOL! I am always amazed at the details on something so teensy! Great finds and even more impressed with those that are handmade!

    3. What wonderful goodies you all have for your tiny ones!

I've collected dolls for years, new to BJD's though, but I really love finding all the miniature scale items for them. A lot of my vintage Barbie furniture works well for the 27cm size and smaller. Also Hallmark ornaments are a wonderful source for toys, especially the remakes of all the Fischer Price toys. And of course Rement has lots of cute items.

When my boys were young they had lots of Micro Machines which make cute cars for this size. Plus there are lots and lots of miniature stuffed animals on Ebay.

    4. I really should take a pic of the toys I have for my little guy. Or maybe I should wait until he comes and gets to see them first. What to do, what to do. *_*

His Hallmark Kiddie Car came and it is sooo unbelievably cute. And heavy!

    5. BAERENFEE...Such an adorable little penguin, I don't know how you do it! I can somewhat knit in a straight line (lot's of doll scarves :) ) but nothing else. I'm always so in awe of talent like yours and really enjoy looking at your wonderful creations.

    6. Thank you. I love knitting in miniature. I've made quite a few tiny toys as well as clothes.

Did you mean my penguin, Sortilege?

    7. Oh, I'm so sorry...I did mean YOUR penguin!!! I guess I had just read BAEREFEE's post and got the names mixed up. (blushing)

    8. No worries, sweetie. I love knitting very tiny toys for the dolls. They all enjoy playing with toys after all.

the elephants are bigger, more Lati Yellow size and she's got bigger bears about that same size. i probably have at least a dozen (and likely more) of her creations.

for classic toys, i also want to try this lady

it looks like it would be perfect for the littlies

    20. they are! i've been wanting to get some of those...and Sylvanian Families too

i'm no expert, but it seems to me that most rement is playscale or 1:6 they fit my Lati yellows much better than my Lati whites e.g
