@Chameleon you're getting a nice sculpt i own also Ingenue SA and Ingenue OE both in obsidian black, this time i got Pietà V1 in vivid color

@Raesha i'm very happy that you grabbed a tanned pietà V2, i would loved to get Khalo head as well, but no one was available at the time when i changed my mind in getting it, congrats

 

As told before i'm over it and i don't wish to stir the pot, but i don't need also to ask to nobody permission to take and share pics of my doll. I'm not willing to be a scapegoat
@Chameleon Wow congrats, love the D bust is amazing, i regret taking the B bust -guess that this is the correct name LOL- you're into the new tan or the the tan from old factory? Curious curious
@Raesha Wow congrats!!!! I have a thing for Kahlo but i decided too lat to add her head to my order, do you have any plans for your Pietà?

 

Not much planned yet. She is going to be Native American and have long black hair. That's all I know so far. :3

I was able to order a tan body for my Kahlo head so am excited about that. She is going to be fashioned after Queen Nefertiti if I can manage that. Yeah!

 

Khalo is absolutely perfect as Nefertiti, I look forward to your take on her, Therealwalter

 

I received my Ingenue in vivid. (Unassembled). I'm sanding her as I have free time. Which is sadly not often since I am in the middle of moving. But I absolutely love her!

 

@$abbatha Oh, Pietà is beautiful!! And I'm so envious of your obsidian dolls! That colour is very nice.
@$avage I'm gonna go with the new tan. Since its sandable and I can be a little more sure about yellowing/greening.

 

I'm totally regretting not getting more than just kahlo head. the vivid color is gorgeous. and without pixel peeping, my eyeballs caught only 2 spots that needed work - w00t! - tho haven't figured out the purpose of the little dips in the shoulder disks? anyhoo! love how just right yet different she looks with my older Ingenue (in dollshe fresh). she's now been washed, strung and pastel ground is drying on one side and the head. can't wait!

 

Could it be to help the sueding to stay in place? I haven't found hot glue that easy to deal with *burned finger tips's memories *.
I can see a lot of lovely dolls' pictures ready to be posted in this thread (or the galleries threads ) sometimes in the near future *hopeful hint there *.
My Newkiru isn't finished yet *feeling distinctly guilty* though I'll share her as soon as my new boy turns up. I'll do a 'dolls snapping' day .

 

huh. maybe? I haven't found the need for sueding (usually tickering with tension works) and don't like how hot glue picks up lint (besides possible burns. ick). yeah totes looking forward to seeing the new dolls and your Newkiru!

@Therealwalter congrats, so she will be Queen Nefertiti, i got right? Khalo head is amazing, i would been a second head to get but no funds left and Pietà won over with no real hassle

@trayola good job! You're more braver than me : i cannot wait to see your girl then! It sucks that you're also facing a moving, i hope that you can enjoy sooner your girl

@Chameleon I got only heads, still looking for which body getting for both heads, i'm working onto my own muscular girl body, but the project landed in the nowhere land due to different reasons

Back on different matter, i'm actually working onto Pietà wig, hopefully will turns out decently! It's an ambitious project but i won't quit easily

 

@$abbatha that's so interesting that you're working on your own body!

And ooh! What are the wig plans, if you don't mind the asking?

 

@Chameleon well it started just as modding job: i was trying to adapt a female bust onto a muscular male abdomen, then i guess that i took the change of challenging and started to mod also what was left of the male body not perfect but it works, i stopped due to moaning of my neightbor about noise and dust..i was working outside onto a secondary balcony, i live in a flat so no much space to built a bjd room or such

Sure you can ask about Pietà wig, i want badly to create a sort of regal headpiece, so far the work it's going ok, but i bet that in the next days will be challenging to create the entire wig

@Raesha Sound cool, i have projects similiar to yours for my Twigling girls, so far i've started with Ylsander and Oryx, after making their wigs, very very tricky i'll go with eyes, than costumes

 

@$abbatha oh, I know this feeling. My family is not huge on the resin dust, whenever I'm working on mods, or sealant if I'm painting face ups.. I can only imagine how much 'fun' neighbours can be.

Oh, that sounds beautiful, but like a lot of work. I can't wait to see the end result!

 

agree, hope to /can't wait to see the body mod - sounds awesome!
me too on showing my girls. need to figure out clothes but shouldn't take much too long to paint up.

 

@Chameleon yeah pretty much annoying situation, i do not like to argue with neightbours so i just stopped to work onto the balcony, tried to work inside but resin dust was flying literally everywhere, me and $avage, my twin sister, had to clean up the room entirely. I will surely post result about the wig here if some decent will happens

@ATYL thanks a company offered to finish the body, but could you believe that i had no time to send to them?
