1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. @ATYL thanks i will keep you posted anyway glad to know that there is a little interest in it

    3. @ATYL If there's some interest me and my sister could drop here a link with more pics, maybe the best place is projects subforums, it's interesting cause we have worked on this body to fit for Twigling larger heads like Ylisander and first Ingenue casting :)

    4. please do at your leisure! would totally be awesome to see! :D

    6. the one in the middle just bumped oryx and pieta2 down my wish list! :D

    7. Wow, look at this little thread go!!! :D

The bumps in the shoulder cups were originally deeper and more plentiful, and intended to be paired with some little nubs in the shoulder, but I didn't like how it turned out, the nubs got removed and the divets were left. I did fill them on the most recent masters but during sanding etc some of the filling material may have fallen out. :aninja:

It's been confirmed the old factory will not be producing, finishing or selling me any FailTan dolls. They also do not want me to make any more preorders with them in the near future because they are so far behind and themselves not completely happy with the quality of their output. I have no more masters handy now, so I am thinking to start on another body variant until I can get some of my other masters back. And meanwhile perhaps talk to HARU again and see if they will work with me on a bigger doll. I have some other alternatives too though... onward and upward! :dance

And my personal doll collection and books and things that I am finally bringing to Spain from Australia, are stuck in customs in the UK, because my hack-and-slashed, frankendollied dolls raise suspicion about actual value and commercial interests... :barf:roar

I am *really* looking forward to my holidays this year, and I just hope they won't add any delay to order finishing for the last few dolls. Fingers crossed it will all glide together like a well-soaped zipper :hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:....

    8. @$abbatha @$avage , I've been sanding my doll wet. Really really wet. Amazing how little dust there is. I'm going to do a piece underwater entirely to see how that goes. (My dogs refuse to wear a dust mask)

    9. yeah, my cat doesn't like masks either. I sand submerged in water in a container, and drain the water and wipe off/throw away the collected dust afterwards. works well i think. :)

    10. @trayola which sandpaper are you using? Usually i use a mini drill, but water splashes everywhere so it's impossible to use underwater. Interesting tecnique. :)

@ATYL i need to try as well, usually i flush away the water so i'm safe from breathing.

As for the muscular body as some of you seems interested i will open a thread in the subforum and maybe i will post here the link.

@Lilla your choice is great, i got the bust C and looks great for the character i have in mind for Pietà, but flat bust is still interesting, actually my interest in kahlo head only, maybe Pietà V2 but is still a feeler.

    11. @trayola thatnks for tips it really help quite a lot, would you mind sharing which sandpaper you'll going to use? :whee:
@Lilla I simply love Gamine, i would have add her head to my order but i was already tight with budget so i pass on her, do you find that she look like a young Ingenieuse? :sweat
@ATYL Sure i will try to made some of the finish work on the body and share here a pic!
On my side today i've started with wig of Ylsander along with the one for Oryx, so far i'm pretty happy with now i'm waiting tomorrow to start :celebrate

    12. Thanks for the explanation on the shoulder divots--that makes a lot of sense. :3 Hmmm...I might try filling mine with little dots of hot glue and see if that achieves similar effect to what silicone nubs would have.

Ooooh, ANOTHER body variant? What more could you possibly do? Maybe a less toned torso/hip? With a bit of love handles? That would be awesome. I can't wait to see what you come up with! I just adore that all of your parts and mix and match, allowing so many different body combinations--certainly sure no other company even comes close. <3

Twigling did describe her as Ingenue's little sister when she was originally working on her. :3

    13. @$avage @$abbatha - I have wet/dry sandpaper in a couple different grits. 320, 600, 800 and 1200. The 1200 grit really gives a nice polished feel (if you like that sort of thing). I'm using the paper soaking wet over a bowl/half in the bowl.

    14. @trayola that's pretty clever! Thanks so much for the advice!

I've started today to work at Pietà wig, so far i've only prepared all materials, i guess that tomorrow i will hope to have more time to work on it.

    15. @trayola thank you so much for the tips i will surely try this! :abow:

    16. Maybe someone is interested in having a quick view of my headdress i've made for my Pietà, was challenging to be honest, at some point i wanted to cry over the fabrics i've chosen but hey i've made :celebrate
Hope you like it, comments are very welcome :3nodding:

    20. @Chameleon thanks  i have in mind a face up already, but cannot work onto it right now, me and $avage are having some repair to the secondary bathroom, so will all the fuss and the hassle of having around the workmen i'm not in the mood of working onto face up, eventhough i have a certain idea in mind.
