    1. Your eye experiments so far are looking pretty good @Sighthoundlady :3nodding: I'll be very interested to see how the next pair turns out!
      I keep telling myself I'll try making eyes at some point, but it hasn't happened as of yet!

    2. Okay, round #2!

      Made the base much flatter and wider. Pushed the glass cabochon deeper so it's flush with the base.

      Almost no eye gapping! I'm really very pleased! I was able to adjust the eyes in many directions with still a good fit. That's what I love about small Iris low dome eyes the best is the ability for the doll to give glances, brings them much more to life I think!

      I'm glad this is interesting @Zaliayn! I've wanted to try making my own eyes for a long time too, so many of the things I'd like are either impossible to find or else extremely expensive.

      This is not very costly at all, the irises are inexpensive around $3 a pair, and I'm not working with expensive silicone molds and resin bases either, just white polymer clay. My sculpting was not perfect by any degree but it's surprising how little that actually matters, once in the head, they look good!

    3. Maybe my eyes are weird, but when I look in the mirror, my eyes look a lot more like the 8mm iris than the 5mm one

    4. Yes it's true, I want to order more irises, try out a 6 and a 7mm, might be more balanced.

      The 5mm looks pretty good in my other SD sized dolls but Ingenue has such large eyes comparatively.

    5. so ive asked this a couple times with no answer i even asked twigling but does anyone have any idea how well super gem dresses fit twigling girls? i would like to get something for my girl before i get her but i dont want to get something that wont fit please help TT^TT

    6. According to the website (when it was there) she fits Iplehouse EID on top and SID on bottom. So I would presume that SuperGem would be a bit too skinny for a Twigling - but if anyone knows better please enlighten both of us!

    7. Short answer - no, not even close. The body types are so wildly different anything the slightest bit fitted is not going to work at all.
      Where have you been asking? I haven't seen this question, either here or the SG thread

    9. That was my post (Ingenue in the Vesuvia harem dancer outfit). The old supergem outfits do fit but not if they are close-fitting around the hips. Ingenue has a noticeably bigger hip area. I don't think any of the outfits for the new supergem body, which is considerably smaller, would fit, tho I have none to try. I also found Dollmore Model clothes fit her pretty well -- and Dollmore tends to put a lot of stretch in its leggings. Some of those fit even better than EID leggings, in my experience.

    10. i want to buy a dress though not pants and i dont really care about length i just want to know if the top of the dress would fit if it was supergem size it seems like it would by the measurements for bust and shoulders but i dont know since this is my first girl

    13. One quick FYI, I just put my Ingenue head on a Resin Soul Body...and while the body is white and the head is rose...the fit is good. I will of course be blushing the body to match the head a bit more..but till then I thought you all might want to know how she pairs with a Resing Soul body...

    14. Not sure whether to celebrate or pull my hair out... factory has sent me an advance of *five* dolls (in transit), but I still don't know when the rest of the batch might come, to say nothing of the rest of the order...
      Looks like they are currently working on the vivid dolls, not the pink ones as I had previously stated.
      White dolls painted by Winterdeer are now being finished and ship back to me after this Easter weekend.

    17. Poking my head back in here to say hi to you all, and join in on the long wait (it'll totally be worth it, I believe). I'm still in the queue for a tan Ingenue.

      It's been awhile since I did anything with my dolls - life got in the way of hobbies for quite some time and I'm only just now beginning to get back into things. My Newkiru has been awaiting aesthetic services for so long now, I finally strung her together so that I can work on some clothing for her while I wait for the weather here to be ideal for sealant spraying. I loooooove her body (that sounded less creepy in my head). Of all the 60+ cm dolls I've owned, she probably has the most natural range of posing. I'm excited to have another Twigling lady come home. :) These girls have definitely replaced a certain other 65cm line of dolls as my favorites.

      And if I get off my butt and start sewing, Elluria (my incoming Ingenue) will have clothes waiting for her when she arrives. :D

    18. @LeMagieNoir this small part of order is in vivid, i was waiting for the pink batch instead, also my twin sister was waiting for the vivid girl she've ordered but she was unlucky as me so her doll is not in this small order in transit. Out of luck as ever. :sigh:
