    1. Well, I strung my girl yesterday, but it's so awful, really-! I didn't have instructions, and these weren't posted when I did it (BTW, thanks AngelMecha!) and she's a right mess. I've done her beautiful little face a horrible disservice by stringing her body so badly. ;_;

      I have a Fair girl, SD sized. And I couldn't figure out the upper thigh/leg parts. The round half circle is obviously meant to go on top of the thigh, and connect so that the string slides up and down when she sits then stands, or vice versa. But how do you keep the cap on the top of the thigh? *tears* It kept falling off, there's nothing to keep it from moving around, not even when the stringing is tight. I ended up using an acid-free non-residue-leaving tape. And then the oval-shaped flat piece that goes inside her torso- I could see how it is meant to fit onto the top of the bottom torso piece and be hidden inside her body, but it keeps slipping/being pulled out of place, which lets her basically "break" in half, meaning that the torso pieces come apart enough that you can see into her body cavity.

      It's so awful, it makes me so sad to see it happening to her. T_T I already love her to death, too! *sob* I just keep beating myself up inside because I *knew*, when I ordered her, that I had never stringed a doll before and that I was going to royally mess her up. *sigh*

      Might anyone have any ideas to impart? I'm a bit desperate here. ^^;;

    2. Just now, I went to take a look at my roomate's dolls, two MSDs, and it seems to me that the parts a mentioned earlier are... *super-glued* together. Is this it? Is this what I have to do? It just seems so scary and permament to me! O_O!!

      If that is the case, then what kind of glue am I supposed to use? ;-;

    4. I got a Little Fair girl so she didn't come with the thigh parts you speak of. I did glue the torso piece onto my doll though (and glueing my fingers to her as well!). Here is a stringing tutorial i used the first time i restrung one of my dolls awhile back- http://rapture.sephdraven.com/misc/unstrung.html

      I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. can't wait to see pictures

    6. don't worry, you have the tutorial now, so you can restring her. i would guess that since the torso disc needs to be glued in, so do the thigh ones. perhaps email angelregion about it!

      just try again and it will come out better! have your friend with the msd's help you, maybe she can offer some advice.

      i was one of the 5 who got a free faceup. she even came with eyes and eyelashes!

      another thing is she came with two sets of hands!

      angelregion is so sweet and lovely! i want to send them a thank you card with pictures of my ami.

      i haven't given her a name quite yet. i'm still deciding.

      i hope everyone's dolls come soon!

    12. Oooh, lucky girl! Your Ami is very pretty. :D Congrats on getting the face-up! I'm still waiting for my Pure Milk Dana to come, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed... Maybe I'll be one of the fortunate ones, too. However, right now I'll just be excited to get the shipping notice!

    14. i hope she comes soon too, i'm really looking forward to seeing pictures of everyone's pure milk dolls. i know it is the same head mold as the basic kit versions, but the pure milk makes them prettier! and i sort of feel a connection to them, because i have a pure milk too.

    18. She's here. ^^ She doesn't seem to have come with an S-hook, though, unless you're meant to use the little metal hook embedded in the headcap... ^^; *clueless*

      Also, I know at least one person already strung their Fair-sized doll, what's a good length to use for the cords? They included directions with mine, but they're for a LF so the size is obviously going to be different. ^_^;;;

    20. Ian-KunX: Congrats on her arrival! ^^ I'm not sure who the person you are talking about is, but since I just finished stringing my fair (the proper way, huzzah!) I'll just let you know, don't use a lot of the string, unless you want her to be loosely strung and such. I ended up adjusting where the knot was several times, until I finally had it tied at lengths that made for a good tightness. Where I tied the knots on the string, there were several inches of extra string after the knot. She's now tight enough to hold poses beautifully. Other than the above, I just say to experiment! To get the looseness/tightness that you want. ^^

      And she definitely should have come with an s-hook, that's what attatches to the little metal hook on the inside of the headcap. I'm sure that one can be found at a home supply store like Home Depot.
