Unfinished kits in AR, 200$ :-O

I got a little fair but she came with an S hook. they carry them at the hardware store and they dont cost much. I had to get one for Hana before.

 

yes, an s-hook should have been in the bag that contained her elastic, and my bag also had some velcro for her wig.

i suggest the hardware store. too. bring the head or just buy the same size that your other dolls have.

 

i sent my ami away yesterday to be sanded, blushed, and coated. it will be about 2 weeks! the longest two weeks ever i believe!

 

Ehe, I may need to buy one from one of you guys, then, if you can get them in the right size. T_T;;; I tried looking for one at Lowes and Home Depot today. The smallest one they carry at Lowes is 1 1/2 inches and huge, and Home Depot is so poorly laid out that I couldn't find where they had them. -_-;;; (I couldn't find NAILS, it was that bad. >_>)

This sucks. X3;;; I have tommorow off so I was going to use it to put her together... T_T;;; At least I can still get the parts washed and give her a faceup? She can sit on the grout cleaner bottle next to Ephram's glue bottle until I get her an S-hook. X3;;;

Well, I can probably assemble the arms since I don't need an S-hook for them. ^_^;;; Get some practice for the fun part. X3;;; But yeah, I have elastic and wig velcro but not an S-hook. ^_^;;;

Her head is kind of huge, but not as bad as I thought it would be. X3 She might even be able to wear wigs with bangs without her eyes getting eaten! XD I like her so far. I need to find her some eyes really quickly. X3;;;

 

Do you have an Ace Hardware near you? that's where i got my S hook from.

 

how long does it generlly take from payment to ship-time for kits? I ordered my Milk White Ami on the last day (the 28th).

well, i'm sure you're doll will ship soon. it seems like angelregion doesn't work the same way other companies do, they have an order period and a shipping period. it isn't like, order one, and in two weeks they mail it.

since you ordered the last day you're probably one of the last on the list, but you definately won't have to wait as long as those of us that order the first few days!

 

I ordered on the 17th of August and my Ren was shipped out on the 1st of September ^^ Im hoping he'll get here Monday or Tuesday >.<

 

Yay I got my Diana this morning, my mom help me put her together using the instructions that came in the box. Shes has a case of the crazy legs tho. And I'm working on her face up right now.

 

Mmmmm, tracking says my Ren boy will be here todaaaaaaaaaaay. *rubs hands together* I know what I'm doing this holiday weekend.

I wish they'd ship my other boy too....

 

*cries* I ordered my girl on July 26th and I haven't heard a peep. I feel forgotten.

 

Well, I haven't had a chance to get out yet, obviously, but I managed on the third attempt to get her arms strung what seems to be decently. ^_^;;; I had to pull a bit, but not too hard, and her arms aren't like... Forcefully snapping to the side or flopping and they'll hold position, so I'll presume it's close enough to right to leave as it. ^^;

So I'm probably going out in an hour or so to try to get one, any ideas what size I should be looking for? 1"? 3/4"? Just buy a couple different sizes and try until it works?

She doesn't have a name yet, and the green eyes she's using as placeholders don't really suit her, but she does know one thing about herself that was obvious the instant I tried it on her, and that's that she's a brunette. ^_^;;; (Grey: Blah. Blue: Ehhh... Black: Ew. Blonde: Noooooo. Brown: Oh, it's her.) I haven't tried the purple wig on her yet, but brown suited her so well I think I'll leave it.

Time to order some Dollfie Dream wigs from Volks or some more Poshdolls or RnP wigs. She suffers from Ephram's problem of being too small to take 9-10" wigs. She's wearing a Poshdolls wig right now which stays on great 'cause of the elastic.

...I was surprised though. Stringing the arms wasn't nearly as bad as I was afraid it would be.

Have you checked the status on the AR website? If you registered before ordering, I mean. When I ordered my Present Jade my order information disappeared from the site, and when I emailed them about it they said my order sheet had been erased by mistake. They had to make a new one for me. ops: You might need to do the same.

 

I did register before ordering, but my order details have never appeared on the website. I'm a little reluctant to ask AR about it, though; I've written them twice this week (spaced three days apart) about when my order will ship and I feel a bit like a pest. I don't know if I'm being too aggressive or not enough. Maybe I'll let another day or two go by and ask about the transfer check.

I feel silly being upset as I am about not having my doll right now. However, I had been looking forward to having her here for Labor Day weekend all this time, and it's a huge letdown. :-\

 

I understant your disapointment. I'm trying to be patient, but I was hoping mine would be here too. ^^; Have you signed in, checked "Your Info", and looked under "Order Management"...?

 

Actually, no. I never knew that "Order Management" was a link. I'm a geek. ops: Well, the order is there, but all it reflects is that I made payment. Will it eventually show shipment status?
