    2. Wow, I didn't know this thread existed as Unidoll's don't seem too popular?! At least there wasn't much on the database.....I'm desperately trying to save for Lily, I missed her the first time round and just recently discovered the re-release. Does anyone know how long a re-release might be up for? And does anyone actually own a Lily, her promo photo's are gorgeous but would be great to see real owner pics too :D

      edit: dianemedford - I've just seen your Lily and that confirms it for me - she is so beautiful, the eyes are stunning! I have to get her or I know I will regret it later!

      also I was doing some research last night and it looks like Dollmore's model doll and real Unidoll's have similar stats, can anyone recommend this or any other clothes?

    3. Well, my Lily (no faceup) just arrived yesterday. And frankly, I was surprised by how SMALL the head is! The body stands great, and is lovely, but the head is kind of a pinhead compared to most. There's no bulk around the cranium and forehead, so bangs and sleek wigs look odd. She definitely needs lift and poof, and most of my 8-9 wigs are far too large. She fit in a 7-8 I got (but the wig UD sent with her DOESN'T fit her and is a bit too small! Go figure.).

      I'll have to take some pix tonight. The head has such sharply defined lower lids, with the right faceup she'd make a good older character head, or even a nice Asian boy on a regular 60cm body. But I'm going to have to do a little sanding of the very sharp lower lid tops to do any kind of soft faceup, I think, that doesn't involve "eyeliner". Dunno. Still in shock over the small head!

    4. They do have quite small heads, don't they? Definetely a size 7/8 wig instead of an 8/9. I found with Selina (my Ingrid )that I do like a wig with bangs as it seemed to make her face fuller for some reason. It's hard to find a wig that helps make her head appear bigger without totally overwhelming her face, LOL! My girl is wearing a Kana Long at the moment. I'm also going to try size 12mm eyes in my girl this weekend as the iris' of the 14mm are still a bit large for my taste.

      I also have an outfit coming for Ingrid that was made for a Dollmore model, so I will report back on how well it fits when it arrives. I'm thinking since their measurements are similar it will work ( It is a skirt, not pants. I imagine pants would be too long) On the subject of clothing, I've found SD16 tops fit, 4D SD17 pants fit, and some tops made for the large busted Elfdoll girls work too.

    5. Elfdoll clothes with darts probably won't fit, though. I tried a sweater I knitted with darts on my Dalia, and the darts are way up in her armpit. Ack!!!! Their bust point is very low.

      I did read in the Unidoll stats that she takes a 7-8 wig and thought considering her height that seemed quite small, (but it's still a lovely head). My msd AoD Rao takes a 7-8 but then she's more the big head/big eyed type of bjd.

      JinCIncy - now I've found this thread I'm gonna stick to it for all the info I can get! Would love to hear your feedback on the model clothes you are getting.

      dianemedford - Your not making it easy for me to wait patiently!:) Your girls look very regal in their fine dresses - gorgeous!!

      Congrats on your new girl:). I'm agree that UD real girls has small heads, but isn't that "real"????? Also their bust set lower than other dolls also very reallistic. I'm not found on other company's doll cause they're "too un-real".LOL. I don't consider a small head to be cons though.

      I really love Ingrid's wig! I also have Selina, her name is Lagann.:) I'm about to ask you where did you get that wig, both colours and style is what I'm looking for!
      Oh, I'm also has Rio (Sergei) and I once try swithing his 12mm eyes with Lagann (Kanis' I don't know their size is the same with other companies or not), they fit perfectly!!! Really look good on her and even more "realistic".

    12. OMG!! I have just placed an order for my Lily about 8 minutes ago :dance I absolutely adore her sweet serene face and feel so lucky that she was re-released - yayy! Can anyone tell me the approx wait times for Unidoll (direct not DDE or other)? I'm hoping she will be here before Christmas as she would be the perfect pressie to myself!

    13. Frankly, when you've planned on a girl with short hair, finding the head is comparatively very small is quite the "con". I can build height with a double pad of velcro on the top, so at least she can wear bangs if I choose, but sleek, tight to the head hairstyles are out. I tried the Lily head on a 62cm IP girl body, and she was too small for the neck! Definitely not a head that can be crossgendered to a male body, either, because there's no extra space to widen the bowl that fits over a neck.       I do like the body. Nice and stable standing. Wish there was a smaller-busted version, though. They're natural in shape, but kinda larger than I wanted for the character. None of my girls end up in gowns or high couture! But with those, I guess she'll be popular in teeshirts--

    16. A LONG time. I put my deposit for her with Denver Doll on 8/30, the last day of the ordering period that was going on then, got the notice she was in last week, paid my balance, and got her early this week.

    18. hobbywhelmed, those a great blank pictures! I really like what I've seen of these girls but I think I see what I like in them even more with your pictures. What a beautiful structure they have! :aheartbea It's unfortunate that the heads are so small, I actually really prefer medium to large heads in my group. I almost can't understand that it doesn't fit that slender IH girl neck. I'll just have to enjoy these girls vicariously. :)

    19. I find I don't mind the small head at all. All you need is a bit of padding in the wig and it's fine. The face is proper sized for body. Just the skull that's a bit less then it should be. I think they have the personality. You can't help but like them even so!
