  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Thanks hobbywhelmed. Well, I'm actually relieved. I want one but I personally find that um... function a bit strange because there are other things that could be done to make a doll more real before that. So I am happy it is not like that. It would be a good way to frighten my super conservative friends though:lol:

    2. I don't entirely mind the scar or the jewels. I'm not sure it's something I would want personally, but there is a certain fantastic macabre beauty to the idea of it...slice the boy's head upen and pretty little jewels come pouring out with the blood...Not realistic, but very interesting conceptually...

    3. Sorry, but much as I love the Jace sculpt, this one just gives me shudders! And I like scars!
      I agree with Hobby, forget the scar (that something we can do ourselves), just do something with his 'package', just so the poor boy can stop padding his shorts:lol:

He reminds me of the Ken Russell segment from the 1987 movie, Aria, where woman injured in a car crash hallucinates that jewels are being placed all over her body (in a fantasmic kind of Aztec setting). But in reality she's being stitched up by her surgeon. It all happens to the tune of Puccini's Nessun Dorma.

    7. i thought he looked a bit terminator-ish, not realizing that the silver things were jewels... i would prefer something more realistic and "warrior' looking.

    10. CXan somoen post a picture of the new doll cause I try to go see it and their bandwith must be exceeded...that happens each time they get out a new doll. Anyone grabbed a picture and put it someone where so we can see it?

      I have absolutely no plans to buy him, because I just have no place for him, but I could probably build him an interesting backstory. :)

    12. I will be interested to see the real picture, rather than this (obviously) manipulated one. The pretty jewels just made me laugh. Other than that, it's hard to make a judgement. Their teasers are always interesting.

    13. looking at the photo of the scarface again, it seems as if the red and diamonds are photoshopped over a scarred face mold. maybe unpainted heads will be available with just the bare scar. ? or less gaudy painting will be offered. ? *_* that would be interesting.

    14. Oh my, that really reminds me of a James Bond villain who had diamonds or something blow up in his face leaving little diamond chips in his scars.. at least I think it was James Bond O-o

    16. Everybody who buys a Unidoll Real must pull out the elbow joint! I made the mistake of not doing it, and missed out on the double jointed goodness while I had my body! It looks like the elbow is just sculpted on, but trust me it isn't!

    18. Ah--finally get to see the pictures. I have mixed feelings about him. I appreciate thay they pushed the envelope on him, and he's visually interesting (to me anyway). Coming up with a character to suite him would also be a lot of fun too. However, I'm not sure he would ever fit in with my other guys or that I would be entirely comfortable with him in his present state. Perhaps if the coloring of the scar/wound were softnened to it really did look more scar like rather than fresh--I think that would make a big difference. Even if it's not my favorite of the things they've come up with, I'm glad to see them continuing to try different things.

    19. OMGosh. I think I would gladly sell my soul to Satan for this doll (not really but I would mull it over). I'm so happy everybody hates him, that means I might have a shot at getting him. I love Nadia's work, it is creative and beautiful. As a special effects makeup artist this one is very meaningful to me. And Jace moves to the top of the list!
