Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Oh, I am glad I brought the head cap issue up! Did'nt figure out that you just twist it around and around to get it to seat! *Duh*!

      Well, I got a face-up on my boy who has declared himself Andreas. I am totally smitten now...Don't have the right lashes or shoes, but I am hunting those down. Dont' you agree he is quite the haughty, little melancholy prince?

    3. Oooohhh!! He's perfect! Just look at him! :) What a wonderful job you did on his lips!!! Mine are always terrible, terrible, terrible. :(

      He's got the perfect look! And the outfit is wonderful! You've even got the fancy chair for him to seat his princely self down in! :lol: It's fabulous!

      Shoes rarely make it into the pictures, so you can still take a bunch of photos of him for us! :)

      Really, he's wonderful! The perfect princely look! Congratulations!

    4. Thank you so much for your wonderful compliments Aernath! I got so excited when he arrived, I went into a face-up frenzy trying to make his character come to life. After one failed attempt with some MSC problems, I got what I was looking for. Later I found some blonde lashes and slapped those on and I think I am done with him!

      I think I am going to have some fun with him during the holidays since he is such a girlyman and just screams for lots of bling around him...I hope to post some more pics soon! Please forgive me all the spam. He is my first SD, and I am a little beside myself.:D

    5. Aha!! I was wondering why the curly wig in the earlier pictures but now it is allllll becoming clear! :)

      It's the perfect wig for his character! That's a great outfit. He looks very princely indeed! Yay

      Cooooool! I gotta see the topcoat! Please spam him! My poor boy keeps waiting patiently for me to get around to his faceup. Time and weather just keep making fun of us. But hopefully soon! If nothing else, I took the day before Christmas off, so I could have a 4-day weekend. I should be able to squeeze a little doll fun in there somewhere!

    12. May I join you here? Was so excited to order my grail girl thru DDE. Had missed out on her when she was originally offered thru Unidoll, and then missed again when Dolls & Friends went out of business. Was getting impatient, now after reading the posts, I'm a bit frightened! Got my fingers crossed for at least no pits/scratches/etc. Or having her derailed to New Zealand. :/ I'm trying to be good and not harrass DDE and just hoping my shipping notice shows up soon. (I ordered her with face-up, SB and extra hands.)
      LuckyI-your Andreas would be a good companion--mine will be Princess Marie-Therese, daughter of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI. At least that's the plan while waiting.
      So sorry about your boy, Lori, but glad that at least Unidoll has offered to make it right.

      @Funnylori: I'm glad to hear you getting a new body from Unidoll. My girl's body got some scratches on the seamlines too and I can concluded now, they did a sloppy job on it. It could be much better.

      @JestersJingle: Good luck on the wait. And don't worry, the New Zealand tour is only available when you live in the Netherlands ;)

      I showed Unidoll the box picture and they were quit shocked too. I think it is still a compliment how well they packed their products.

      I still can't believe she is finally here ^^ So far I'm trying different wigs and eyes to get an idea how her face-up will be. But there is still lots of work to be done. Her eyelids had some resin residue, but with a tiny sanding job they look smooth again. I found a tiny pit/crack on her collarbone. Like a tiny stone smashed in the resin. It's hard to photograph. I think I need to borrow my father's macro objective and see how bad it really is. And I understand what Funnylori is pointing too. The seamlines on Yoko's body are very rough sanded. Even for my first try, I did a better job. The neck got it worst, there are deep scratches and it is almost sanded flat. Looks like they didn't finished if off smooth and using the roughest sandpaper they got. On other places it is done reasonable, but I prefer to sand the seamlines myself in the future for sure. Also it helps with bonding ;)

      All these bad things I can fix myself ;)

      Edit: now I forgot to mention how happy I am having my dreambjd :D

    16. Sint, I just saw your box (or what was left of the box) opening thread. Wow!! My mouth fell open and I just gasped. My daughter came running to see what was wrong.

      You're so lucky that she made it safely after all that!! and what a bonus to get a wig you like and the extra hands as well! Now I'm kinda wishing I'd ordered them because they're nice :)

      I hope she was worth the wait for you -- because oh yes, she's beautiful! :)


      Oh! and FunnyLori - what a good thing they're doing to send you a new one. I sure hope it comes through in good shape. I think that is a very class-act thing on Unidoll's part -- especially when we have seen examples where some doll companies will fight tooth and nail to keep from doing right by dissatisfied customers.


      I must have really drawn the lucky straw with mine because it was SO fast getting here and there just isn't anything about her that's even marginally wrong. I may sand her neck a little (seam not sanded) but no scratches, dings or other issues).

      LuckyI--Your Andreas is so beautiful--I love seeing his pics when I visit this page! More please! Are you making his costume, or having it commissioned?

      DDE just e-d me to say that my UH21 is in!! She will ship UPS on Monday, so I'm hoping she'll be home for Christmas. I promise to post pics, even if she hates the wigs and outfits I've collected for her so far. (You know how they sometimes do that.)
