1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Unoa Boys ORDER April 26th - Crescent Shop

Apr 23, 2005

    1. Yes I am trying to spend my boy unoa thinking on the names how they will be painted and the clothing and taste of the two character. Help to focus the energy and not feel so bad about waiting.

    2. Me too! Waiting, stalking GA's diary, checking YJ daily for any sign that the first wave is out, and signing in at Crescent ( for what I am not sure, they dont post to your message board they just email you) but at least I am doing something.

So we are all in the wait boat together.
Then we will have to sand and pant and dress ...OMG what will he wear?
I have some Key chain shoes that may fit

As far as a name goes, I have kinda thought my guy - B-el - reminds me of a Hawk every time I see a pic of him, so I may call him Hawk but will wait to see him all finished before I decide for sure.

I am sure any day now we will get our notes from Crescent, maybe even tomorrow
      (yup eturnal optimist here)

    3. Just want to know... did people who paid with PayPal still get confirmation of their orders, or did they just get the PayPal receipt and nothing else? Also, have confirmation e-mails already gone out to the people who were in the last batch of orders?

I'm almost ready to settle in for the long, long wait. My Sist was not preordered... I got her two days after I paid, so this is going to be hard. Hate waiting so much. T___T

*curls up with Sailormoon R and a cup of hot cocoa to distract herself* :chibi

    4. Want--boy--now! I seem to be in the most danger of ordering a new doll when I am getting anxious about one that hasn't arrived yet. Perhaps I need a distraction from the endless wait. Is anyone else starting to feel antsy? ~~Lin

    5. Very for the last month I have been feeling like ordering more dolls and I have !

Then when they arrived my space will suddenly be very full. I have limited area for them to be.

Its disappointing they are taking so long. I have already ordered things for them so they will have clothing and wigs and boots.

If it wasn't unoa boys I would be upset however this is pretty much the way it always is.

    6. This is the point when I think something has gone wrong. It's good to know everyone else is feeling as antsy as I am. Is anyone else planning on treating the boys like girls? I eventually want to get all four unoa, and have the clique of girls.

    7. I don't think anything's gone wrong. They're just slow, as is normal for Unoas it seems. I'm still antsy though, but in a more excited way. I know its just a matter of time.

I'll probaby treat my L-Bi like I would one of Volks asexual angel dolls, since his, erm, boy part is removable and he looks rather androgenous.

    8. Me too! Displacement doll buying.

Although I really like what I have gotten I am just waiting for those boys!

    9. Im so fed up of waiting I bought a Sist!
I do have a commision to turn an Unoa boy into a girl , Im looking forward to that
and I know Im gonna be fixing my boys bits firmly in place !
I used superglue and a sealant on my one Elfs ears so their were no gaps and they looked fixed , so I know I will do that with Anar ...thats is name , my Sist is Isril
      Elvish for Sun and Star

    10. Yeah, my boys (if they ever decide to GET here!) are going to be dressed as girls. I will leave their detachable "stuff" in the box should they ever have need for it in the future.
I have a feeling that L-Bi is gonna be a knockout girl. My only concern is how masculine their hands and shoulders will look. I think it's going to take some creative costuming, and a little bit of padding to make them girly enough to suit me. But I love a challenge! :D

    11. Starting to get antsy? :o

It's been four months of antsy-pants, with no word. Yeah, yeah, I know, but I wish so much to see my boy.

And my L-bi has told me his name is Marius (or possibly Marcus, but the names are cognates, so 6 vs half-dozen). I wonder if he will like it still when he is actually here?
      See? I'm still hopeful ^ 'when . . . here'.

He's going to look gorgeous in his pourpoint & chausses, with some wonderful cote over all. Maybe a cotehardie, maybe a houppelande, maybe a plain goun. *sigh* Wanna sew for him.
'Spose if I sew for the others that are here, they'd welcome him more gladly.
      Darn logic.

    12. Ok, good! (breathing deeply) It really helps not to be alone. It's been a hellish week; I guess that's why I've been so out of sorts; I am very upset about NOLA and the desperate situation of the folks of the gulf coast. Normally, I am very adept at compartmentalizing events in the world, (i.e. real life), but this week is too close to home. Need dolls to hug. Peace and love~~Lin

    13. Yes a solid date would be very nice.

I do think Cresent thought they would have shipped before September.

    14. well, considering araki takes about 5-6 months from preorder date on average to ship out the unoa GIRLS, so i presume it's about the same for the boys, which is fine- gives me more time to save save! ^_^

    15. me too Customs alone is gonna be a killer

    16. hmmm I hate these pre-orders this is my first time and i hate it...it takes way to long..=_+..I'll probally get L-bi in december or january or like months later..+++ how do you guys do this!

    17. We alternate being quietly crazed & complaining on this topic.

And I bought a CH Little Jr. this week. *blush*
      He's so cute, too.

I still want my Unoa boy, though.

    18. I have to keep thinking of them because I wanted a certain artist to do them and they have to fit them in before a certain time. As times goes by I wonder if I will get the artist I wanted *_*

I am also waiting for the Narin to come out and that is way over due just to order them.

I have been into ball jointed dolls for years now I tend to be ok with waiting as I forget on purpose unless I have a artist on stand by like now.

    19. I am BEYOND anxious at this point. If they don't come soon, I just KNOW I will drop a bunch of cash on other BJD stuff....

    20. I'm right there with y'all. ordered B-el on the first day possible, and still waiting.

he's going to be all boy. I just love sewing for boyz!

I'll restring my Lusis (floppy all over) when I string him. no doll stands for them!

Masamichi did say he will email before he ships them. so we'll have a warning. but, every day - no word from Mr. M.
