Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. My Marius, B-el, arrived today, too.

      I can't quite believe it; maybe tomorrow I will, as I sand off his flashing (heels, thigh balls before they can be attached, and one other place) & some of his seams.
      The seams are mostly low-profile & could be left, but while I'm sanding anyway, may as well get them, too. I've got a little list of supplies for sanding & cleaning up in general.

      He is one gorgeous boy, even unpainted & with his eyes partly filled in with resin lace.

      I really look forward to finishing him & playing with him.

      Second the approval of his feet, which are gorgeous. They are tabi feet, so I will have to make him some traditional Japanese clothing--or maybe just flip-flops. :)

    2. i feel like the luckiest person - not only did my tanned hound arrive, but i'm expecting my b-el tomorrow.

      but i have a question for those who have put the unoa boys together - i know a tiny bit about stringing... was it hard to string them? or is it pretty straight forward? (as a small note - i can read japanese instructions - so if b-el comes with any, i should be fine... i hope.... *_* )

      i also got some of the cat ears for him - these should fit the unoa boys, right? they seem to have the slots for them...

      oh, now to hide to avoid being hurt by the masses.... (meaning my mom...) :oops:

    4. Just got my B-el! I don't have time to put him together right now, but I opened his box of course!

      I DID get an eye mechanism and the 2 different "naughty bits" :)

      I love seeing the photos! They are very inspiring! Please keep posting them, or maybe a link to the gallery section if we are getting overloaded.

      My L-Bi arrived this morning, yay! But he came with two "left" elbow joints, which I don't think is correct at all. :( I'll have to ask Masamichi about that.

    13. Masamichi got back to me really fast! I send a photo and he's going to mail me a replacement right elbow joint part tommorrow. :grin: That'll work out fine, since I have to paint him still anyway. *breathes sigh of relief* I'm glad Crescent Shop has such great service.

      I was originally planning to dress them both as girls, but now I'm not so sure. They are so handsome! But even if I got in on the December preorder for the girls, they would take so long to get here!

    17. Can anyone tell me how much their doll was valued at on the customs form? Mine is currently awaiting customs charging tonight and i need to get the money out of the bank but don't know how much to draw out.
      Nail biting time as i'm on vacation Tuesday and i need him (L-Bi) to get here before we set off :?

      as they charge for the doll and the postage ...it may be less , but I wouldnt say it would be any more

      Ok lets have a little game ...who has to pay the most custom charges
      2 boys over a $1,000 .... I am guessing £200. ??? :evil: thats $400is :evil: :barf
