1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

UPDATE - Kemper refunded me..yay!

May 15, 2007

    1. This is a good example of a company taking your money and that's it. After getting what they 'wanted'...(your dollars)...from the paying customer, they no longer want to deal with that same paying customer. And I use the word 'wanted' refering only to money, because if they wanted to provide good customer service, they would have re-sent your items and then they as a company would be dealing with the shipping service themselves by filing a claim.

This is not a smart way to conduct business...at least not anymore. When I first started collecting BJDs, it was very limited on the internet where you could buy items such as wigs, eyes, clothes, shoes, etc... and dolls.

But now...it's great! There are so many companies out there available to us now, that we can be picky. And if this is how a company is going to treat their customers by sending out the message that once we get your money we don't care about you as a customer any more. Then I don't need to and I don't want to buy from a company that does not value customers.

Please let us know how everythings turns out.
