    1. I was definitely torn on the skin tone as well, especially because the "full package" with the wig and outfit looks so amazing on the white skin. After we all brainstormed on fae ideas for her though, I realized I thought the NS version looked like a morning glory with those dark pink finger tips, and the NS is so lively and earthy! I can tell that my Odette will be a handful when she gets here XD It'll be so exciting to see who your fairy turns into!!

    6. WOW! Muse Star that little pink dress is just adorable!! And such a great background with that neat old piano (the lantern is so cute too!) I think living near to DDE would be great, you wouldn't worry about ordering something and then finding it doesn't fit! Such a drag...

      I gathered all my Morning Glory assets together in one sheet so it's easier to see everything I had planned all at once! :D And then I realize that I don't have any idea at all what she's going to wear...

    7. linakauno.......I just love my little piano, and it still plays too. Perfect size for a MSD, a bit too small for a SD of which I bought it for.

      That picture is fabulous Anneke! Thank you! That is her only outfit. I can't put her in skulls and black. That is what they had mostly of.

    8. Is it a good rule of thumb that Odette can fit MSD sizes? I doubt I'll find much (except for the black and skulls!) but I figured I should be prepared to jump on something if it comes up somewhere.

      Also, trying to save up for a bjd while trying to decide between several ones you are dying to get? Hard. Doesn't help to be a poor student (as of this monday morning).

      VictorianWinter, can I just ask a silly question? I was wondering if the Create Your Own (like say odette's face and body and Gwendolyn's wings etc) will have the same price of a full doll like Odette or Gwendolyn?

    10. @ Anneke: I havn't tried many clothes on Odette...I have a pair of kaki pants that I tried on her, perfect length, but a lil loose around the hips. Not sure what kind of shirt types will work...sorry about that!!

      @Sickan-chan: For the Create your Own will be the same price as the base, with any combination (so 425 USD :))
      I might also be giving people the chance to buy wigs clothes and eyes with the CYO but I havn't decided just entirely yet :)

    11. I just had an epiphany as to how I'm going to dress my Odette! I think I'll keep it a secret for now though, it'll be a fun surprise for everyone to see her finished once I get it all together! (well, I'd like to think so anyways! It's been such an adventure for me to see what you guys have done so far!)

      Ah I'm so excited! I just wish I had been given some indication at work that it would be safe to buy her already *_* The suspense is driving me absolutely bananas...

    12. well that could be good or bad depending on your will power and or lack thereof... lol

      vampire like fae are more likely to be part of the unseelie court...

      seelie and unseelie are often seen as good vs bad or light vs dark or summer vs winter...
      you can google the terms if you want to read more... id rather not simplify the fae and their realms too much
      to me faerys are neither good or evil... we just perceive them that way depending on the outcome of our interaction with them

    14. Hey gang, I'm working on getting my Happy Camille wig ordered for my Odette and I was wondering if I could pick your brains for a minute--

      The Happy Camille sizes are as follows:
      SD = 8/9"
      MSD = 6/7"
      BB = 15-16cm

      I don't know why the BB size is in different units but apparently it's difficult to get straight answers from her (language barrier) about wig sizes...

      Anyways, Odette's head is listed at 16cm (16cm = 6.3 inches)

      So I'm wondering if I should be getting an MSD wig sized 6/7" or a BB wig which is 15-16cm.

      Does anyone have a 6/7 wig that they have tried on Odette to see if that fits best? Does anyone know if a 15-16cm wig would just be flat out too small?

    15. I think the one I tried on my girl was a 5-6 size, it fitted fine, but the color was...........eeeewwwwwwwwww!

    16. hehe, I actually custom ordered my wigs from Happy camille :) (I will be ordering more styles and colors soon so it will be easier to get wigs for the Tegs!)

      I ordered the MSD = 6/7" (16cm) ones and they fit perfectly :)

    17. Odette just arrived.
      But question for Monkey:
      how the hell does that flimsy thing go on? the arms will NOT go into the sleevey bits.
      I refuse to damage a doll btw. I've been known to toss things that don't fit (Marsh pants everything).
      So any suggestions?

    18. The hands are magnetic right? I got some custom outfits for my super gem and had to remove her hands to get them through the sleeves. Maybe that will help?

      I am trying to hold in my squee attack at the news that your Odette just arrived....I can't wait to see pictures!!! >.<

      Well, her hands have to be removed first, then put back on after she is dressed. Hince the magnets :)

      I usually dress my dolls without any wigs, and of course take off the ears too, the dress slides right on nicely.

    20. I thought her wig looked familiar! That's exciting that you're planning on getting more :) Thank you for the size advice, I just revised my order to be an MSD wig instead of a BB wig. I'm going for dark purple with magenta streaks, I'm definitely getting plenty of inspiration from my Morning Glory color scheme :)
