Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I think it would be great PR to have a VW interview and some exclusive photos! But it would definitely be more appropriate when some more features go live on VW's website. She's been quiet all weekend, I wonder if she's been in a casting frenzy, LOL! :D

      In other news, I finally got the hubby to take me to the craft store today and I went a little nuts. It's not quite finished but here's what I have so far! Salandria my blood elf kindly volunteered to be the size guide :) since she's also MSD height.

      In order to make this the perfect sparkling home for Odette I'm going to add more moss so it covers the whole shelf, a glittery gauze backdrop, a little mirror pond with pebbles around it, some silk morning glory flowers (surprisingly hard to find) and toadstools. I've already got a ton of LED "floral display lights" hidden in the fern and the Jasmine, but I don't have batteries for them yet... I think it's coming along nicely! I can just imagine Odette sitting on her thimble stool, playing with her latest shiny discovery!

    2. Oh my word, check the Dollar Store first! I just went there out of a whim and they had the mossy stuff for the floor (I paid $8 for mine at the craft store!) they had moss covered rocks, bags of pebbles and shiny stones (I got some!) and tons of fake floral. It was awesome! I am making my pond for Odette now :D Mossy rocks and everything. It's so cute!

      I makes me feel like I aught to get more fairies to hang out with Odette in her sanctuary :)

    3. Good to see you survived the move so far VW! And congrats on the second pressure pot, I hope this means Gwendolyn might pop up sometime in the next few weeks :)

      LOL I'm glad you guys like the thimble! My husband saw that, picked one up, said "huh" and put it back. I squeed out "OMG IT'S A THIMBLE!?" and bought one without another thought LOL. It's actually a thimble shaped flower pot! They are on clearance now at Jo-Anne's Fabric! They have them in three sizes, I got the medium sized one :) I'm going back to Jo'Anne's tomorrow, if anyone must have one and doesn't have as store near them I would be more than happy to pick you up one! It was like $4 or something. I love their clearance section! :D

    4. I finished Odette's fairy garden today! I decided not to put in a fabric backdrop since I do love the backing of my cabinet--we'll see if that changes once Odette gets here and how she photographs in front of it :)

      I wish I could capture how magical this place looks with the fairy lights on! My camera's flash just washes them out :(

      I think once Odette comes home she might add little treasures she picks up, or fill those bottles with pixie dust! I keep thinking I should get her a tiny friend, but for now this should make her feel pretty welcome :)

      I also found the faceup artist I'm going to send her to when she arrives, and the outfit she's going to wear. I feel like I'm really on a roll with this one! :D

      How's everyone else's plans for their Odette's coming along (the ones who already have them and the ones who are getting them soon!) ??

Not to mention me trying to get my own website up. So I'll try to give photos this week/weekend sometime. O.O life is crazy all of a sudden!

    12. Oh don't worry Monkey, we're just excited :) Not trying to be pushy at all. We all want you to take the time you need to do it right and don't want anything rushed. I pop into this thread all day and can't help but see what everyone else is up to, lol.

      I actually forgot about the "butane blue panties" so I'm glad I did :D That is an exciting concept! I keep watching VW dolls and Soom's Faery legend. I wonder what the Gwendolyn will look like compared to Soom's upcoming fire fae (an assumption that fire will be next.)

    14. i just realized today that it's my Bermann's birthday. So I need to do a photo op with him and a certain Blue Fairy and see what kind of sparks I can get flying. He's a tan so they should look yummy together. @.@ LOL

      Been busy last weekend and this week (contracts) but with 3 days this weekend I fully intend to get some photos going during the day. I have lights but do not like how they shine on the dolls and backgrounds and Odette looked really odd to my eyes. So sunshine is worth pulling down the black-out blinds and trying for some fun stuff. With Sept. and October I've got 3 birthdays .. or is it 4??? omg All I remember is October was a very expensive month. LOL

    19. Aodh wont tell me his birthday...
      was far too long ago for him to remember... (17 000 yrs ago) he says it was summer... thats all...
      (im going by chary in story creation... I basically know I developed his chary for an RP in October of 2005,... and I recieved my BJD this summer... but fae bein what they are he decided those dates dont count...)

      Ullr is gonna be the same problem.. being a God... you think he will give me his birth day?... I dont think so... and when when i eventual am able to afford a VW fae it will be the same story over again... slippery fae...
