Now there's a message. Anyone know what it says? You would think they would have prepared for this. Changing the date does not change the fact that their server can not handle the load. This should be a reason for them to increase the number of servers, else it will continue to happen again and again... and we'll lose the chance for an after event all together.
The site crashed, can't click on any of the items. when I bought the sd13 boy suit the message said only a few left and was lucky to have completed the transaction then went back and the item was sold out so then I tried to get another item and the site crashed.
Site is back, but of course, everything is gone. I know it's been said a hundred times before, but there has to be a better way of doing this ยฌ_ยฌ
I used babelfish and it said: 404 Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. They should upgrade all their systems. I remember eLuts did not have this problem when they released the Limited Gambler El. This really sucks, cuz that's what happend to me yesterday when I couldn't get Liz, because their site crashed. At least today I was able to get the outfit that I wanted.
Try to open another window and see if the site is up, if it's up go back to your other page and click next step. Volks said they will hold the item you have for 20 minutes. Try it. Hope you got what you ordered.
I'm angry. I only wanted one dress and a pair of jeans from the entire Dolpa. The dress was never made available, and the jeans were mislinked the whole time. If I send an email to Volks, will it make a difference?
They did this yesterday with the dolls? I noticed that if you click on the dolls now, you get a page to enter a lottery for them. So maybe those of you that wanted one of the dolls still has a chance? They should just do a lottery system on everything. I'm sure it would relieve a lot of stress on both the server & the customer.
The error message I was getting was not a 404 not found message. It said something about 10am and I know it had the date. I guess I'm very disappointed in Volks. They already have a limited number of items. Then they make it worse by getting our hopes up about an after event, only to have the whole system crash, just like it did last time.
Okay, since I seem to have time, waiting for the site to come back up (if it does)... Can anyone tell me how to get to your shopping cart on Volks, WITHOUT having to buy something else... I accidentally closed my cart once and didn't know how to get back to it, so I bought a pair of eyelashes - wanted a pair anyway... but hey... - to get back to my cart. Is this a stupid question?
Not stupid at all! Go to the main volks page, and one of the links towards the top right is "displaying the cart"
I am at the confirmation screen - all I need to do is press the "order an item" button - and it crashed again!!! ops: ops: I think I may have a mental breakdown....
Just wondering, has anyone ever managed to get the v-jeans links to work? If not, then it will probably take a while for them to realize that they are mis-linked? Until they go over the orders I guess... They were mis-linked ever since they put the pages up, I was worried about that, but still didn't email them to let them know. *blames self* *hits refesh* *hits refresh*
Their website has a lot of items that are mis-linked, or sometimes the link sends you to the japanses site. I e-mail them once with a bunch of bad links, they said "thank you" but they never fixed it.
