Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. I finally got Henri a few new outfits and tried the first one on this past weekend.
      The outfit fits wonderful (it's a MSD/SDM , with DSD listed). The only odd thing is that his legs are so chunky lol it does look a little small on him.
      I want to get him tights!

      Still cute though :3nodding:

    11. Hmm, I've been thinking about about Dear SDs for a while now and I got an email from Volks USA that's all tempting!

      I'm curious, to anyone who's entered these Volks USA lotteries before...what was your win rate like? I'm really smitten with Tiffany, but I also like 4 Sisters as a DearSD and I already have a Megu so one of the basics and a head swap potential alternative if I can't win her... but I don't know what the odds are that I could end up winning more than one lottery.

    12. It really depends how popular the item is honestly, but as of late your win chance is very good. Volks has increased production. If you place yourself in the lottery for DearSD, I would expect to win.

    13. I’ve won a Volks lottery exactly once since 2005 while I have friends who win probably 1 out of every 3 they enter for - the odds of winning seem to vary wildly based on the production run, the numbers of entries, your personal luck, and the phase of the moon.
      I’ve seen people win everything they put in for so I’d suggest proceeding with caution unless you are totally sure you want and can afford multiple entries, as it seems multiple wins are most common when people are only hoping for one of a few.

      (as awful as my luck is with lottery orders, I’ve won two ai tenshi at in person events)

    14. I was just thinking a couple months ago "oh I don't need another resin doll but maybe a DSD would be nice if VolksUSA did a lottery" and this came up so soon after saying that. :sweat

      I think I'm going to enter for Mai. I'd really like her WS body to share with (or be stolen by) my future Lieselotte and it sure helps that I think Mai is beautiful too! I'm not going to have all my friends, family, and acquaintances enter though. If fate says it's not the right time, then that's fine.

      I don't have much experience in Volks lotteries but I have lost 1 out of 1 entries so far. That was way back in 2013 though. I'll cross my fingers for this one (and for everyone else entering!)

    15. I have the worst luck with Volks lotteries! LOL! I only won once. Of course I barely ever enter, it's just too expensive. The one I did win was the original release of Pearl. And I only kept the head. But it was nice that we won.

    17. It's nice that Volks is doing another run of DearSds for the US. I have all the DSDs I planned to get, so I won't be entering. I have won them both in person and online with only one entry, so I'd expect a high success rate.
      I did just grab the two new smocking dresses from the Kyoto AE though! More matched little girls! :hug:

    18. Thank you all for the responses! It sounds like the chances are at least decent, so I'm thinking I will put in for Tiffany only and see what happens. F-73 was available from the FCS this month so I don't think it will be as competitive.

    19. Jumping in …I am considering the new Dear SD and spent a lot of time reading posts and enjoying great photos. I am considering Mai or Nico. Does anyone have a comparison photo of white and normal resin? I am concerned the white may be stark white. The size is great! What size eyes?

    20. White on the left, fair on the right. :) If you want to keep them child-like, stick with 18mm or larger eyes.
