Hi, I am participating in the Sewing project round this month, the theme is fairy tale and I get the inspiration from the Sugar plum fairy of The Nutcracker. I am happy with the result so far, next week I will make her removable fairy wings

Hello my peeps! I have resurfaced from the depths to see if anyone got a lottery result yet?

 

No email for me, but I don't expect to see one until tomorrow. I also have not seen a user group pop up on my profile yet but I will post in here if I do see it.

 

I'm in suspense about the lottery! I've never entered before so I'm not sure when to expect results - maybe at midnight?

 

4 pm pacific time is what I believe the event page says!

Usually they send out the emails at midnight. Atleast that’s when they sent them out the last time I entered a lottery on Volks USA.

 

Despite what the event page says, it was midnight! And aaah, I won Tiffany! That's a nice bit of excitement before I go to sleep and I'm happy not to be in suspense anymore, haha. Good luck everyone!

My email came through at 2am, and I won Vanessa I am pretty shocked! I wasn't expecting the email as soon as I woke up... much less a congratulatory one.

Congrats to everyone who won, and I hope Volks will run another for people who are still wishing for their DSD.

I won Vanessa. She beautiful. I am not a fan of her outfit/wig so I may sell it separately and get something else for her.

I believe all of the girls are coordinate models, so you may not get the wig on the promo image. Hopefully you'll get a wig you do like!

I see people won Tiffany and Vanessa, but did anyone win any of the 3 standard model girls? At least from this thread, it doesn't seem like Nico or Mel were very popular. I have to wonder what they do with any girls who didn't get enough entries.

 

I was curious about this too! Especially Mai because she's so popular, yet I haven't seen her mentioned anywhere. I'm assuming most people just don't post here much, or aren't posting because they don't want to seem like they're bragging? I avoid posting whenever I win a lottery for this reason.

I ended up getting Mai on YJA after selling some of my unwanted dolls to cover the (egregious) markup, I really just could not get her out of my head and I was determined to make sure my hard work saving for her wouldn't be in vain lol. I feel a bit more attached to her now as a result, even despite losing the lottery, so I suppose that's a net positive.

 

@lunar-dream304 I'm glad you were able to get her! I hope she arrives to you safely! I'm willing to accept Mother SD's choice for me, but there's nothing wrong with taking control and defying her by buying a Mai in the aftermarket!

I know what you mean about getting attached to her. I mostly wanted her for the body, but after seeing so many gorgeous Mai photos, I was planning on keeping her around forever, even if she may have moved to a SD10 body. I even picked out a name but I'm 95% sure that jinxed me. I just hope the next lottery for them is less than 2 years away. I'll be ultra bummed if I wait that long for a second chance and still lose!

 

I'm curious as well... I had thought about entering for Mel as a backup for Tiffany, but I didn't (and I'm glad I didn't). And as another data point, my mom also entered for Mai and didn't win her either. There must have been a lot of entries for her! And I'm sorry if posting the win seems like bragging, I just know I'm curious to see the results for everyone.

Congrats to the winners, and I'm sorry to the ones who didn't get picked. Maybe Volks will see the strong demand for Mai and make more of her next time.
