Did anyone find anything out about a boy Dollfie Dream in the end? I know you can get independently produced mods for Dollfie Dream, like the Peach Pai bust mod...has anyone ever produced a male chest and male hips for the Dollfie Dream skeleton?
Yes, please bring on the DD boychik!!! Please Volks please please please! Yumi-tan could use a companion. I'd especially love one that had sort of a Visual Kei/J-Rock aesthetic. I like the Obitsu 55cm boy but I'd prefer flesh tone and I'd prefer something a bit more grown-up looking. No, I don't want dangly boy bits, that would just squick me out. (No offense to those who like that kind of stuffs!) A nice nondescript mound there to give him something to fill out pants would be fine. Basically what I want is a manly doll with a wiry musician's (dancer's, gymnast's) body. Is that too much to ask? And yes, I want it in vinyl, not resin. ^_^
Okay, after reading this thread, I have to ask: Did the rumored Obitsu boy end up being the 55cm body, rather than 60cm-ish? I've seen multiple posts talking about a 60cm boy as a rumor, and the 55cm as a reality, but nothing explicitly stating the fact. I'd also love to see a male DD (DD Archer would be very tempting, for instance), though I recall someone pointing out in either the DD general discussion thread or the DDdy discussion that the DDs are largely geared towards a male market with no interest in male dolls, so it's probably unlikely. *tears*
What it is, is Obitsu has a male chest plate that can be swapped out from their female 60cm line, hence making a curvy 60cm boy. Only the 55cm has yet to truly be a boy. Anyone know where I can get this "Peach Pai" mod? EDIT Now there IS such a thing as a 60cm boy! But it's not a made 60cm boy. You take the torso of the 55 boy and stick it with the legs and arms of a 60cm girl! Just found it on their site!! I want a boy to go with my girl I would love to have a go at making it, but I wouldn't know how to begin to produce it in vinyl I heard about it on dannychoo.com, apparently you can buy it here for about 13,000 yen. It's not really for my girl, I quite like the squishy idea, but far too big for my DD.
I also interested to buy DD boy body. I saw that Volks made the first DD boy body for Kirito and after that they release boy body for Dream Choice System. I am not sure that they also upgrate f3 frame for DD boy ??
They have made a couple boys Len Kagamine (2016?) DDS Base Body (Boy Type) |Kagamine Rin / Len×Dollfie Dream® Sister | VOLKS INC. and recently 9S from NieR Automata. I'm not an expert on DD's though someone else probably knows more. EDIT: whoops yeah I just saw so apparently they are two different things, the 'DDS' which is a bit smaller, this Kirito one is 'DD' so a bit taller.
All sounds like good news. Part of why I had never got into DDs was because they were only 1/3 women for the longest time and I didn’t know how to reconcile them with my realistic dolls.
