I enter the lottery for Mochi Ashi DHH-19 those cheeks are just to adorable. I only have enter the lottery once before and I didn’t win. I hope this time is different

 

I entered the lottery for the DDH-21 and actually won her! So I'm pretty stoked to get a tan dollfie dream out of season especially with travel to Japan being put on hold for a long while. I may end up selling some of her default items though when she comes in. Congratulations to anyone else who won

I won the DDH-20! AND they came out with all the option hands for the mochiashi body. Volks really makin my holiday dreams come true this year

Didn’t win, but is for the best. I just bought an Angel Philia. Maybe some day I will win a volks lottery.

awh I'm so jealous, I wanted to get my next MDD in Japan in spring but seems like I'm not going either and of course too late for the lottery q_q I also like DCH19 with her chubby cheeks and cute lips but also looking into DDH22 since I originally wanted DWC01 but that's the same head but with lips and at least it's a standard model that should be in stock unlike Dream Choice ; v ;

So, funny story. I fell in love with an outfit...that turned out to only be in MDD size....but I loved it so much I couldn't get it out of my mind...and so....I put together an MDD so I could have the outfit.

Ahh hah hahahaha
The only thing is, now that I have my cute little MDD put together (the outfit is still caught up in the mail) I am totally OBSESSED and want an army of MDD. Whooops.

Completed my DDH-08 boy, Viri, whose faceup was one heck of a thing to try to do since I can't look directly down, and, thus, shove my face directly in front of the head while I'm using the extreme detail brush. I had to hold him a good distance away so my lines aren't as crisp as I would have liked, but I'm still very happy with him!



I love the 08 head for the MDD, but the lips(?) on his eyewells are kind of extreme. I might have to sand them down or something to get the eyes closer to... you know... the... opening of his eyes?

(His wig is *super* cute, BTW, but I'm also obsessed with keeping this super-cute hat that hasn't really matched anyone else on him ATM, so it remains obscured >>; )

Congratulations to all the D'COORD winners! I am excited to see photos of your new arrivals once they are done their travels. Hopefully, they will have some interesting stories to tell you about their trips home to you.

Here is my one MDD, Blueberry-chan. She is a D'COORD model DDH01 I won at a Kyoto Dolpa. I have been meaning to get outside to take photos and even planned to take her "out in nature" but... I did not want any virus on my doll. So, I created an abstract winter scene at home. Here is Blueberry with her sweet bunny, Cookie:

It's still stuck in shipping. But in the meantime, I've managed to cobble together a little outfit for my MDD. Her name will be Polaris. I'll have to try and snap a picture to post here. She's so adorable and happy. Hehe. And the f3 frame is a dream to pose. I'm enjoying it so much!

Meanwhile I've finally accepted the fact that there will be no Japan trip this year so I started looking for my 2nd MDD base, originally wanted DWC01 which sale has ended, then DDH22 which is same head but with lips that I could mod anyway and yet it's awaiting restock, then I was thinking of the most popular DDH01.. I also looked at heads like DCH19 and DCH21 and Dream Choice proxy services which start at around $800 and decided to leave that kind of purchase for my actual trip cause that is quite a lot ;_;

So luckily I found DWC head in SW on sale in USA and ordered MochiAshi body separately from volks, both of them are not shipped yet but I'm super excited!! Unlike Hina who's OC I had for a while and had everything planned, this girl doesn't really have a name or specific look in mind yet, although I've ordered two pairs of blue eyes and searching for some cute wigs which could go well with cat ears :з I also plan to make another 3D mouth mod, this time rather sad and shy triangle shaped but I need to order new dremel for that. If anyone got MochiAshi shoes options to share I'd like to purchase some cute pairs because I don't think anything I've got will fit her q_q

I've painted this girl for my friend and that was my first DD face-up commission which was so much harder than I expected, need waaay more practice to actually do this for someone else :<

Ah, I don't actually collect MSD sized dolls so there was no one to wear it at all. Hehe. But it works out because I love my MDD so much! ^__^
And goodness, so much cute on this page alone with everyone's pictures. Definitely worth it.

Congratulations on your new girl! I wish I could help you with the Mochi-Ashi shoes but I can only guess at this point. I *think* that perhaps the Mochi-Ashi feet could be regular MSD size so the larger MSD size (as in regular Volks MSD size) could work? I hope someone can confirm that for you.

Also, I am so sorry to hear you will have to skip your Japan trip but when you do visit you will be able to order your own MDD to your specifications. Dream Full Choice is not going anywhere. I am sure by the time things get back to normal you could encounter some newer heads, too.

Lastly, I would like to mention your face-up work is lovely! She is so vibrant and happy. I am sure your friend is thrilled!

 

I read over at DollDreaming that Nine9 style sneakers will fit mochiashi. I ordered a pair but they haven't arrived yet.
